There is a rogue group of copyright infringers who have stolen a much earlier version of my data - from at least 10 years ago - and have the affrontery to publish that, along with using my name, on their poorly researched website. They claim this is the 'original' Kracker Archive, a ridiculous claim since my Archive has been in a state of continuous development for over 30 years and nobody - NOBODY - has the original. They have no right to use my name or my data and readers who come across this nonsense should do nothing to encourage theft of this nature. I am outraged by this blatant theft and misrepresentation of my lifetime's work. His 1st known western victory, a Beaufort near Lister on 9 February, 1941. His first known Soviet victory, an I-153 on 30 August, 1942. Two I-16 Ratas on 10 October, 1942. Obermaier states that his brother, Heinz Peterburs, also a "Jagdflieger" was killed in action, however I do not recognize him as a pilot.

KIA 31 July, 1942. Shot down in "White 1" by Spitfires at Monchaux (Berck-sur-Mer), near Abbeville, France. At the time, his Staffel was placed under JG-26 for the Summer, and began operations from Liegescourt, northeast of Abbeville. Rudi constantly circled Helmut Wick and radioed to the English Rescue ships, that a British flyer was down, in hopes they would rescue his wingman, Wick, from the Channel. At the time Rudi was KIA, he became separated from his wingman, Fw Heinz Grüber. His 1st victory, a Potez 63 northwest of Merzig, 30 April, 1940. His 2nd, a Spitfire near Portland on 11 August, 1940. His 3rd, a Spitfire near Canterbury on 5 September, 1940. His 4th, a Spitfire E of Portland on 27 September, 1940. His 5th, a Spitfire over England on 30 September, 1940. His 10th, a Spitfire SE of Calais on 25 June, 1941. His 15th, a Spitfire near Calais on 23 July, 1941. Nos.20 & 21, both Spitfires N of Gravelines, one into the sea, on 19 August, 1941. All victories in the West. Les Butler indicates Rudi served in JG-26 also. Bowers/Lednicer, 52 victories. Added: He was uninjured 12 February, 1942, when he crashed Wk# 8338 at Oude Bondijk Strijen, N.Brabant due to lack of fuel (SGLO).

1531 Pichler, JohannMaj1/12/1908Friedbach2/KG-27 He 111-H-6 Werk # 7069 "1G + SK" (lost 4/26/42) Bomber Operational Clasp KIC with his entire crew, 26 April, 1942, when their ac collided with another ac from KG-27, piloted by Ogefr Heinz Stute. Both ac crashed 12km south of Kirovograd, Kirovograd Oblast, Ukraine, where they are all buried. Remaining crew: Obstlt Dr Karl Töpke, Obs; Ogefr Erwin Gerber, R/O and Fw Paul Lindberg, Flt Engr. Their graves are understood to exist at Kirovograd, not yet transferred to a military cemetery, and commemorated in the Kirovograd collective cemetery. No VDK burial match for Obstlt Töpke (D.Drury).

After HS graduation, he worked for one week in the FW factory at Bremen. Then drafted into the Signal Coprs before entering Luft training. Flew his first combat mission in 1944. During the Battle of the Bulge, 24 December, 1944, he made a force landing in another A-8 on the Autobahn south of Bonn. Forced to bail from his A-8 in August, 1944 when he lost oil pressure and his engine failed, suffering internal injuries. He was hospitalized for several months, during which time, his parents received his death notice! He was wingman for Wilhelm Moritz and Oskar Romm. Witnessed Oskar Romms fiery crash on 24 April, 1945. He also flew a few missions as wingman for Gunther Schack, Kdr of IV/JG-3 at the time, and Werner Schröer, also Kdr IV/JG-3 in February, 1945. His "Swartz Mann" (Mechanic), Ofw Hans Langenkamp. Ended the war by riding to Westerland in northern Germany, avoiding POW Camp. A Mechanical Engineer in Germany, he emigrated to America in 1954, retiring in 1986. A comrade of Emil Daniel, now living in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. Changed the spelling to the "Americanized" Puett in the U.S..

MIA 14 June, 1942, when he failed to return from a mission between Tobruk and El Adem. They were attacking a convoy offshore, when they engaged in aerial combat with P-40s of SAAF No. 5. Magnus. His first victory was a Spitfire over Malta on 20 April, 1942. His second was another Spitfire 2 km south Ta-Venezia Malta on 24 April, 1942. A P-40 in the Sidi Rezegh vicinity on 30 May, 1942. Yet another Spitfire of RAF No. 112 Sq., piloted by P/O Wilson (POW), at Meitfel el Chebir on 1 June, 1942. Later this same day, he was shot down but managed the crash land in Axis territory. A Hurricane southwest of Fort Acroma on 5 June, 1942. Claimed two P-40s "seriously damaged" on 7 June, 1942. A Hurricane of RAF No. 73 Sq. near Bir Hacheim on 10 June, 1942. A P-40 on 14 June, 1942, his last victory. Alternate spelling: Quäritsch.

He was flying wingman for FhjOfw Heinz Marquardt on 1 May, 1945, when Marquardt was shot down by a Spitfire of RAF No.41 Sq, piloted by Flt/Lt Peter Cowell. Radlauer escaped by diving to tree top level. Magnus Report, 15 victories.

He bailed successfully, and landed near Beselare/Courtrai. One known victory, his 1st, a Spitfire by Steenvorde on 27 April, 1942. His 2nd, a Spitfire 26 July, 1942. 1594 Raitmaier, HeinzFwUnknown Fw 58C Werk # 2023 "NG + EO" (or "EQ") (lost 3/3/42; ret'd 3/22/42) Transport Operational Clasp On a flight from Bergen to Trondheim, Fw Raitmaier and Uffz Hans Egger (R/O?), made an emergency landing in Sweden, 3 March, 1942 due to a compass error and bad weather, causing them to run low on fuel. Both were uninjured and permitted to return to Trondheim. Neither was identified as the pilot. I chose Raitmaier, as customarily, SIG listed the pilot first in their reporting. The ac was dismantled and returned to Norway, 22 March, 1942. (Source: SIG Norway & B.Widfeldt). Alternate spelling: Reitmaier (Widfeldt).

On 23 December, 1944, bailed for the 3rd time north of Sturovo, Hungary (now Slovakia, D .Drury), with serious wounds, from Bf 109G-14 Werk# 780887 "<<" over Hungary, after downing a B-24. After this incident, he did not return to combat duty. 450 missions including numerous low level attacks. 11 bombers. One known bomber victory, a B-17 35 km NNE of Frankfurt on 14 October, 1943. 18 victories in the East. His 1st known Soviet victory, a Yak-1 on 12 June, 1942. A double Soviet victory, both Il-2s on 5 July, 1942. A Soviet triple on 5 July; two Pe-2s and an Il-2. A Pe-2 on 10 August, 1942. A Yak-1 on 13 August, 1942. Numerous victories in N.Africa. One known Balkan victory, a B-24 100 km NE of Craiova on 5 April, 1944. A B-24 at Radomir on 24 June, 1944. Another B-24 on 15 July, 1944 at Stalati. Another Soviet victory, an Il-2 on 13 October, 1944. A B-24 on 6 December, 1944. A Boston III and an La-5 on 8 December, 1944. A Yak-9 and an Il-2 on 21 December, 1944. 1600 Rassloff, KarlUffz19182/KG-53He 111H-5 Werk # 3550 "A1 + CK" (lost)Bomber Operational ClaspPOW 7 May, 1941 after being brought down by a Defiant Night Fighter of RAF No. 141 Sq. after their bombing attack against Glasgow and Clydeside. After shaking the Defiant, with his port engine damaged and the wing root on fire, Rassloff turned toward France, but seeing he could not make it, returned to England to make a force landing at Morpeth, where uninjured, they were captured. Remaining crew (all POW): Gefr Emmerich Lernbass, Observer, Uffz Karl Simon, wireless operator, Gefr Walter Schmidt, mechanic and Gefr Heinz Quittenbaum, gunner.
