There is a rogue group of copyright infringers who have stolen a much earlier version of my data - from at least 10 years ago - and have the affrontery to publish that, along with using my name, on their poorly researched website. They claim this is the 'original' Kracker Archive, a ridiculous claim since my Archive has been in a state of continuous development for over 30 years and nobody - NOBODY - has the original. They have no right to use my name or my data and readers who come across this nonsense should do nothing to encourage theft of this nature. I am outraged by this blatant theft and misrepresentation of my lifetime's work. The ONLY person I have ever authorized to publish my data and use my name is Kelvin Youngs, who earned my trust and respect many years ago and is authorized by me to publish my work on whichever website he organizes, currently this being its present home at the highly respected Aircrew Remembered.

Downed the 306BG B-17 of 1/LT William H. Parker on 5 April, 1943 while in 4/JG-26. Also downed B-17 "Augerhead" of 303BG flown by Lt William Monahan on 19 August, 1943. His 60th victory, a B-24 7 km SSW of Turnhout on 9 May, 1944. A Triple victory on 10 June, 1944; three P-47s at Tricqueville-Lisieux, Nos. 62, 63 & 64. His 65th, a P-51, piloted by Lt R.B.Moore, sd between Conde-sur-Noireau and Flers on 18 June, 1944. A C-47 at Nijmegen on 21 September, 1944. A Spitfire at Oss/Grave on 2 October, 1944. Joined the Luft and served in Poland, Norway, Britain and Russia. His first known western victory, a Polish PZL P-24 in the Lodz area on 2 September, 1939. A Tiefdecker at Deblin on 5 September, 1939. (Perry Claims). A Wellington (n.b.) N of Langeoog on 18 December, 1939 (Perry Claims). His 6th, a Spitfire at Gravelines on 7 May, 1941. In December, 1941, he was assigned to Rechlin to evaluate improvements on the Bf 109. Also heavily involved in the developement of jet and rocket powered AC at Rechlin. Scored nine victories in one day on the Eastern Front. His 1st Eastern victory, his 7th victory, a Rata 25 km NW of Lemberg. He fell out of favor with Galland, and ironically, replaced Galland briefly as Gen der Jagdflieger before going on Sick Leave near wars end. Deceased 7 September, 1987 in Sulingen. Severely wounded in action in his G-6, Werk # 20209, 4 September, 1943 during aerial combat with Spitfires of RCAF No. 403 Sq. at Monchy-les-Preuxl. He made a forced landing injuring his spine, and leading to sectional paralysis. He died of his wounds in a Leipzig hospital, 26 September, 1943. 130 missions, all victories in the Channel area in the West, including 14 in N. Africa. His first victory, a Hurricane at Bournemouth on 11 August, 1940. His 2nd, a Spitfire over England on 7 September, 1940. His 3rd, a Spitfire over England on 14 September, 1940, thought to be F/O Anthony E. Hyde-Parker in P-9453. The Fw 190A-2 was thought to be Werk # "333". The "Yellow 8" in 9 Staffel is most likely an Fw 190 also. He was nicknamed "Alter Hase" or "Old Hare", and has often been referred to as one of the backbone NCO pilots.

WIFA 30 August, 1941 in his E-7 when he crashed near Hazebrouck on a combat sortie. The crash was attributed to pilot error. His one victory was a Blenheim on 13 October, 1941, the date he was killed, not sure if it was the one that hit him. Erich Hartmann said he was released after 10 years with he, Hajo Herrmann and Johannes Wiese. Known to fly Bf 109E-7 "Yellow 9" in 9/JG-52 in the Ukraine in August, 1941. A Lancaster near Brunswick on 13 August, 1944. His Radar Operator, Ofw Rolf Kissing (EK-1 (6/1/43), was KIA 17 August, 1944. His replacement was Fw Hammendörfer. A Lanc, ME 732 P, of No.61 Sq. on 23 September, 1944 piloted by F/Lt Donald E.R. Stone (KIA) and my Gunner Friend, Sgt Alfred Roy Fellows (Evaded capture). Sgt Edward Ravenhill, also a gunner, was injured and captured. All remaining crew were KIA. The ac crashed on Hoffkampweg, Almelo. Remaining crew: Uffz Arthur Henneberg, Fw Martin Thomas and Uffz Alfred Wetzker. Crew disposition unknown. Jager Blatt 4/2001 & 6/2001. Added: The crew of four were KIA, and three of the four washed ashore on the Dutch side. They were believed attacked by either a Defiant of No.264 Sq. or Hurricanes of No, 501 Sq.. The ac crashed into the English Channel, off the Kent coast, near Manston. Three of the deceased buried at Ysselsteyn, Blk BF, Row 4; pilot Grell Gr 88, observer Thomas Gr 93 and gunner Wetzker Gr 92. There is no known grave for radio operator Henneberg (D.Drury).
