Injured, were Fw Alfred Schramm (or Schraum), Gnr and Fw Max Friedel, Passenger (H.D.Zemke). Added: Maj Belz, the Obs, was missing. Ofw Althoff and Ofw Röhrig were killed in the crash. In a German publication, the flight was described as being reconnaissance, therefore, the crew classifications should read KilledInAction (KIA), MIA and WIA (D,Drury). | ||||

On the night of 6/7 August, 1942, he was forced to bail a second time, with injuries, from his F-4, after aerial combat with fighters at Padua State St Michielsgestel by Hertogenbosch.
