On 7 February, 1945, he achieved 6 victories in one night. Survived being shot down by US fighters, bailing safely, in his Ju 88 on 13 December, 1943. 171 combat missions. All Night victories. His R/O was Anton Heinemann (RK 4/45 after 124 missions (H.Breuer). Another crew named Hesse. One known victory, a Lancaster on 17 January, 1943. Another, a "4 Mot Flgz" 15 km northeast of Stendal, 23 October, 1943. Another, the same day, a Lancaster near Haguenau. A Lancaster 3 km E of Flensburg on 17 August, 1943. Another Lancaster NE of Hadersleben on 15 February, 1944. A Halifax and a Lancaster near Düsseldorf on 23 April, 1944. A Lancaster over Schweinfurt on 27 April, 1944. A "4 mot" along the French coast on 12 June, 1944. A "4 mot" at Coulommiers and one at Gien, on 19 July, 1944. Victories 54 & 55 were both "4 mots" over England on 3/4 March, 1945. Bowers/Lednicer, 58 victories. Deceased 11 January, 1977.
