in Riga, Latvia that was closing down. If you can identify any of the personnel please let us know.

Remaining crew: Reg Rat Hans Euler, Obs (POW); Ofw Willi Butz, Desig Unk (MIA); Fw W.Lewandowski, Desig Unk (POW) and Gefr E.Schitteck, Desig Unk (POW). Only Ofw Butz is listed in the VDK as "Missing" and commemorated in the Ger War Cem at Rossoschka, near Volgograd, Russia, Cube 11, Plate 9. Reg Rat Euler was a published German physicist. Efforts were made to free him from Russian captivity, but his further fate has never been known (D.Drury).

Remaining crew: Fw Josef Butz (KIA), Ogefr Heinz Adler (MIA) and Uffz Gerhard Mache (MIA). The bodies of Krings and Butz washed ashore later, near Hastings, Sussex, and were buried at Hastings Cem., Div. O, Sec .F; Krings in Gr 47, Butz in Gr 48 (D.Drury).
