There is a rogue group of copyright infringers who have stolen a much earlier version of my data - from at least 10 years ago - and have the affrontery to publish that, along with using my name, on their poorly researched website. They claim this is the 'original' Kracker Archive, a ridiculous claim since my Archive has been in a state of continuous development for over 30 years and nobody - NOBODY - has the original. They have no right to use my name or my data and readers who come across this nonsense should do nothing to encourage theft of this nature. I am outraged by this blatant theft and misrepresentation of my lifetime's work. The ONLY person I have ever authorized to publish my data and use my name is Kelvin Youngs, who earned my trust and respect many years ago and is authorized by me to publish my work on whichever website he organizes, currently this being its present home at the highly respected Aircrew Remembered.

His 4th, a Hurricane 30 km W of Calais on 5 February, 1941. His first known Soviet victory, his 37th overall, a Pe-2 on 13 February, 1942. His 40th, a Soviet I-61 on 18 February, 1942. A triple Soviet victory on 22 March, 1942; an I-61 and two Il-2s. Two I-61s on 31 March, 1942. Another double on 4 April, 1942; an I-61, no location, and an I-301 3 km E of Parfino. A quad on 20 May, 1942; two I-61s and two Il-2s. Five victories on 7 July, 1942; three Il-2s and two MiG-1s. Two Hurricanes and two Il-2s at Kalatsch on 25 July, 1942. Added: His ac sustained the loss of a tailwheel earlier when landing at Terheyde, Netherlands. Remaining crew (& 15 infantrymen): Ofw F.Bauer and Uffz F.Seib. Oblt Drengk and crew were subsequently rescued by Fw Armbrust, with a 3rd crew Fw E.Ruhl (separate entry), only to be shot down by a Dutch Fokker D.XXI of 2e JaVA, Luchtvaartbrigade, piloted by 2/Lt Johan "Hans" Plesman. Nine persons were taken prisoner, however, none identified other than the pilot, who was also POW. Dive Bomber Operational Clasp w/Pendant		KilledInAction (KIA) 17 April, 1945 during a bombing mission against Soviet forces. SG-77 was jumped by 60-70 Mustangs and Bauer and several others were killed in the dogfight 1km northwest of Kukau near Kamenz. Six others were killed including the Stfkpt, Oblt August Lambert (RK). All were buried on the Hutberg near Kamenz. Channel pilot. About 650 missions.

Bauer joined the Luftwaffe in 1941, served mostly as wingman for others, was sd twice and had four victories. Those last days in WWII he was sent to Olomouc to defend Moravian Ostrava. He and Heinz Sievers are said to be the last two Luftwaffe fighters of WWII (F.Braun).

Dive Bmbr Oper.Clasp w/Pend.		1071 missions, including 70 with the Fw 190. One known victory, a Soviet Yak-9 on 5 December, 1944. 12 unconfirmed aerial victories. Destroyed 51 tanks, 2 armored trains, numerous shipping hits. Shot down, suffering a broken jaw; hit by MG fire from a LaGG-3, piloted by Starshina Shakh, of 11 GIAP, on 24 April, 1942. He bailed safely and managed to return to his base at Krasnoye-Selo. A fighter pilot dispatched the LaGG-3, avoiding a worse fate for the Stuka pilot. Shot down repeatedly over the Kuban bridgehead. His EP was awarded on 8 December, 1941. Deceased 24 March, 1997 (Heinrich Breuer). Added: The mission on 24 April, 1942 was to attack shipping at Kronstadt, located on Kotlin Island in Kronstadt Bay, west of Leningrad. Whether sd by Skakh or flak, Maj Bauer was injured making a forced landing at Krasnoye-Selo, SSW of Lenningrad. He was out of action until 25 February, 1943 (D.Drury).

A 2nd, a P-47 N of Coutances on 27 July, 1944. A 3rd, same day, a P-38 S of La Guerche.

"The Blitz, Then & Now" suggests the Ju 88 crashed in the North Sea some 20 miles east of Whitby. According to Lovell, after repeated attacks, the AC, with starboard engine aflame, turned to starboard and dove into the sea, exploding on impact. Remaining crew (all MIA): Fw Gerhard Drassdo, Observer, Gefr Hans Blunck, wireless operator and Gefr Johann Bauer, gunner.

Fröse bellies his finished AC and makes a run for it, followed by Radkevich (who landed nearby), and chased Fröse for 2 miles before capturing him! His 1st victory, an I-16 of 36 IAP, piloted by Lt Mikhail Fedoseyev on 23 March, 1942, the same day of his capture.

Mackenzie, southeast of El Alamein on 23 July, 1942. On 3 September, 1942, he downed another P-40 south of El-Hammam.
