There is a rogue group of copyright infringers who have stolen a much earlier version of my data - from at least 10 years ago - and have the affrontery to publish that, along with using my name, on their poorly researched website. They claim this is the 'original' Kracker Archive, a ridiculous claim since my Archive has been in a state of continuous development for over 30 years and nobody - NOBODY - has the original. They have no right to use my name or my data and readers who come across this nonsense should do nothing to encourage theft of this nature. I am outraged by this blatant theft and misrepresentation of my lifetime's work. The ONLY person I have ever authorized to publish my data and use my name is Kelvin Youngs, who earned my trust and respect many years ago and is authorized by me to publish my work on whichever website he organizes, currently this being its present home at the highly respected Aircrew Remembered.

A B-24 at Nickelsdorf, SW of Brück, on 10 May, 1944. A 2nd B-24, same day, near Sopron. A double victory on 9 June, 1944; both B-24s near Landshut/Wasserburg. A B-24 (HSS) NE of Augsburg on 13 June, 1944. Another double on 26 November, a B-24 and a P-51, SW of Hannover. His 14th, a P-51 S of Eberswalde on 5 December, 1944. Photo

Büttner was uninjured, but the other three crewmen were injured, the gunner dying of his injuries. Remaining crew: Ofw Heinz Tiemann, Observer; Uffz Anton Ehm, R/O and Fw Arthur Balke, Gunner (DOW). He participated in the Spanish Civil War with the Legion Condor, and began his flight training after his return from Spain. All 94 victories in the East. His first known Soviet victory, an I-15 Rata on 28 July, 1941. An I-16 Rata on 17 March, 1942. A Yak-4 on 30 December, 1942. An I-16 on 7 January, 1943. An Il-2 on 12 January, 1943. A LaGG-5 on 23 February, 1943. A LaGG-3 on 7 March, 1943. An Il-2 and a LaGG-5 on 15 March, 1943. A LaGG-3 on 17 March, 1943. A LaGG-5 and a LaGG-3 on 19 March, 1943. An Il-2 3 km S of Leningrad on 11 April, 1943. An Il-2 and an I-16 on 26 April, 1943. A P-40 on 5 July, 1943. Three LaGG-5s and two LaGG-3s on 6 July, 1943. Two Yak-9s and an La-5 on 7 August, 1943. Assault Operational Clasp in Gold with pendant		POW 21 April, 1945 after being shot down by Soviet Flak. He was released from Russian captivity 18 September, 1946. His Radop/ was Anton Kraus. 713 missions including 123 with the Fw 190. Destroyed +80 tanks (in just a few months in early 1945 in West Prussia and Pomerania, CK) and participated in the sinking of one submarine. Shot down 12 times. On 8 August, 1941, he was shot down by Soviet fighters of the 29th Fighter Aviation Regt., suffering severe burns, but evaded. Added: in 1951 in spite of his severe injuries, he won the "Goldenen Ski" der Deutschen-Versehrten-Ski- Meisterschaften. Deceased on 26/03/1988 in Rheinbach (CK).

Raised his victory total from 58 to 100 in seventeen days! 1st to score 200 victories in Oct 42. In Sept. 1943, JGr-50 was established to combat Allied High Altitude aircraft. EJG- OST is Ftr Repl Grp-East. This A-5 had the often pictured fancy paint job. Turned over to Russians after the surrender. Served 5 years in a POW Camp before released (joined Communist Fed). Erich Hartmann said he was released after 10 years with he, Hajo Herrmann and Johannes Wiese. Known to fly Bf 109E-7 "Yellow 9" in 9/JG-52 in the Ukraine in August, 1941. Opposed the 6 March, 1944 Berlin Raid as Kdr III/JG-11. Plus 24 Unconfirmed despite gun camera evidence. Joined II/JG-77 in April, 1938. 34 Bombers. 87 victories in the West. 1000+ combat missions! His 1st victory, two Hudsons at Stavanger, 15 June, 1940, while in 5/JG-77. On 27 June, 1940 he was wounded during aerial combat south of Stavanger, his Bf 109E was 10% damaged. Source: SIG Norway. His 75th victory, a Soviet LaGG-3 on 21 July, 1942, one of six victories this date. His 100th, a Pe-2 on 3 August, 1942. Two known Ardennes victories, both P-47s at Durbuy-Stavelot on 24 December, 1944. Shot down eight times. Four times wounded,several seriously wounded. EL conferred on 6 Aug., 1942. Brief Kdr JG-76 in August, 1944. Hackl succeded Eder as Kdr II/JG-26 in October of 1944. A P-47 and a P-51 near Liege & Remscheid on 14 January, 1945 in II/JG-26. Ordered to JG-300 on 29 January, 1945. Kdr of JG-11 in February, 1945. Flew operational flights for all five years of the war. Germanys 17th ranked fighter Ace. Deceased 9 July, 1984.

2 Bombers. KilledInAction (KIA) 17 October, 1944 in his "Black 1" after downing his 204th victory. He collided with a tree at Schweizersfelde, E. Prussia (today in Kaliningrad Oblast, Russia) while pursuing a Russian Yak-7 fighter. Added: His remains have not been transferred to a military cemeter y, but a grave is believed to exist at Malomoschaiskoje, Russia (D.Drury). Top scoring Ace of JG-51. 795 combat missions, including 175 close support missions. Crash landed at Mardyck on 29 March, 1941 in Wk# 3766, no cause given. Suffered severe facial wounds 5 July, 1941 combating an I-16. He was able to land without accident, with a doctor and ambulance waiting for him. On 5 July, 1942, he scored seven victories throughout the day; a MiG-1, three Yak-1s and three Il-2s. On 2 January, 1943, he was shot down in Bf 109G-2 Wk# 13985, by F/O Robt Oxspring of RAF No 72 Sq.. He broke his hand bailing, and was out of action for six months. Known to fly the Fw 190A in August, 1943. One of many Soviet multiple victories, two Il-2s (m.H.) on 29 August, 1943. A Pe-2 and two LaGG-5s ESE of Yelsk on 3 October, 1943. Two Boston IIIs, two Yak-7s and a LaGG-3 near Loyev on 28 October, 1943. Two La-5s on 7 February, 1944. One of many multiples, three Yak-7s, three Il-2s, and a Pe-2 on 22 February, 1944. 20 victories in the West. Added: Hafner and Franz Gapp were schoolmates from Erbach (Fritz Braun). Note: LOCS says the burial location was Huetenfeld.
