There is a rogue group of copyright infringers who have stolen a much earlier version of my data - from at least 10 years ago - and have the affrontery to publish that, along with using my name, on their poorly researched website. They claim this is the 'original' Kracker Archive, a ridiculous claim since my Archive has been in a state of continuous development for over 30 years and nobody - NOBODY - has the original. They have no right to use my name or my data and readers who come across this nonsense should do nothing to encourage theft of this nature. I am outraged by this blatant theft and misrepresentation of my lifetime's work. The ONLY person I have ever authorized to publish my data and use my name is Kelvin Youngs, who earned my trust and respect many years ago and is authorized by me to publish my work on whichever website he organizes, currently this being its present home at the highly respected Aircrew Remembered.

KIA 3 July, 1941 during aerial combat with Spitfires near Aire (St. Omer). He crashed into a home on the Aire-St. Omer Rd. at Wittes, 8 km north of St. Omer, and was killed when one wing broke off his F-4, like the accident which took Gustav Spricks life. Buried Illies Nord France, Block 2, Grave 78 (Rosseels). He had been seriously wounded 4 September 1940 over Canterbury by a Spitfire of RAF No. 222 Sq.. 6 victories in Spain. 21 victories during the French Campaign. Nos 1 thru 4; three Gladiators near Maastricht and a Morane W of Maastricht on 11 May, 1940. His 5th, a Hurricane near Jodoigne, SSW of Tienen, 13 May, 1940, while in 1/JG-1. Victories 8, 9 & 10, all Hurricanes at Douai on 23 May, 1940. Nos.13-17 in one day near Nesle/Roye on 5 June, 1940. Nos.18-21, all LeO-451s at Roye on 6 June, 1940. He was the 2nd Fighter Pilot to receive the Knights Cross, havig 23 victories at the time, plus 13 destroyed on the ground. He is known to have flown Bf 109E-4 Werk # 1486 "White 1" as Stfkpt 1/JG-1 in May, 1940. He is buried at the WWI Cemetary in Flanders, next to his Father, who died in the earlier conflict. His last victory, Nos.39 & 40 a Spitfire & a Blenheim on 27 June, 1941 in the Dunkirk-St Omer area.

A 3rd, a B-24 at Bolsward on 22 December, 1943. A 4th, a B-17 at Steinhuder on 10 February, 1944. A 5th, a B-24 N of Nidda-Bad Soden on 24 February, 1944. A 6th, a B-24 SW of Fulda on 24 February, 1944. A 7th, a B-24 "PS-4" on 12 May, 1944, no location.

KIA 12 May, 1944 at Dorfborn, by Fulda, in aerial combat with P-51s escorting B-17s. 12 bombers. One known victory, a B-17 this same day, before being attacked by the Mustangs. His first known Soviet victory, two Pe-2s NE of Rogan on 15 March, 1943. A Boston on 17 March, 1943. A Soviet DC-3 NE of Staro-Belsk on 24 April, 1943. An Il-2 E of Tomarewka on 5 July, 1943. Although this appears to be his 5th victory, one of his other Soviet victories must have been unconfirmed. His 5th, a B-17 at the Kitzingen airfield on 14 October, 1943. His 6th victory, a B-17 south of Innsbruck, 19 December, 1943. His 7th, a B-17 on 29 January, 1944. His 8th, a B-24 on 20 February, 1944. His 10th, a P-51 at Kroberkopf, NE of Esslingen, on 25 February, 1944. A B-17 on 18 March, 1944; he makes emergency landing w/o inj. His 15th, a B-24 5 km W of Halberstadt on 11 April, 1944. His 17th, a B-17 (HSS) 10 km NE of Augsburg on 13 April, 1944. His 18th, and last, a P-51 on 12 May, 1944 in the Wetzlar area. Alternate spelling; Horschelmann or Hoerschelmann. The Frost Report states his victories as 44. Bowers/Lednicer, 44 victories.

A "4 mot" N of Krefeld on 21 July, 1944. A 5th, a "4 mot" 40 km W of Hamburg on 29 July, 1944. A 6th, Lancaster "KB751" off the Danish Island of Sejero, 17 August, 1944. A 7th, a "4 mot" SW of Rostock on 12 September, 1944. A Wellington on 2 October, 1944, no location given. Magnus Report, 14 victories. Boiten 12 victories. Added: At least one source has reported that Möller was the pilot of Wk# 621800 which deserted to Porto Portugal on 1 May, 1945 with Oblt Walter Briegleb (D.Drury).

A few days after receiving the RK, he failed to return from a mission. Soviet POW 9 August, 1943; sd by flak while making a low-level attack against railway targets in the Belgorod-Kursk area. Remaining crew: Uffz Hannes Humpe, Obs (KIA); Fw Johan n Hofmann, R/O (POW) and Uffz Otto Derfert, Flt Engr (KIA). Schmid and Hofmann were releasd from captivity in December 1949 (Kaiser RK book). 375 combat missions. Among his victories, 12 locomotives and 13 AC on the ground. Deceased 21 July, 2006 Bad Wörishofen (P. Bastin).

His 2nd G-4 reported lost in an accident at Hirschland, Zabern, Elsass 7 April, 1944, his disposition unknown (NJG-6 Loss List).

Another "4 mot" in the Berlin District on 24 March, 1944. Another, same day, a Lancaster in the Berlin area. A "4 mot" in the vicinity of Fulda on 31 March, 1944. A B-26 at Amiens on 8 July, 1944. Magnus, 21 victories. Bowers/Lednicer, 21 victories. Bolten, 15 to 21 victories.This may be the Lt. Wolf previously in 3/NJG-5. Buried in Beuchte (LOCS).
