Remaining crew (desig unk): Uffz Fritz Polster (MIA), Fw Günther Stenz (KIA) and Uffz Hans Hülshoff (KIA). VDK burial matches found for Uffz Hülshoff and Fw Stenz. Uffz Hülshoff has not been transferred to a military cemetery, but a grave is understood to exist at Budapest, Fehervari ut, Hungary. He is commemorated in the German War Cem at Budaörs, Hungary. Added: Crashed at Matlock Gardens, Hornchurch, Essex (J.Schadskaje). He and the Observer bailed out and were captured. Remaining crew: Uffz Josef Haversteng, Obs (POW); Uffz Richard Bubel, R/O (KIA) and Uffz Joseph Juvan, Flt Engr (KIA). The two deceased are buried at CC; Juvan 1/2/44 and Bubel 5/9/214. On 15 September, 1940, his Wk# 1586 was sd by Spitfires of No.152 Sq., piloted by F/O Peter Geoffrey O'Brian and P/O Arthur Roy Watson, and crashed at sea SE of Portland, Dorset. He and the Observer were rescued at sea by German ASR, and three others are "missing at sea" and memorialized at the Laboe Naval Memorial. Remaining crew: Uffz Heinz Rothen, Obs (rescued); Uffz Andreas Janson, R/O (KIA); Uffz Fritz Keil, Flt Engr (KIA) and Ogefr Rudolf Conrad, Gnr (KIA) (D.Drury).
