There is a rogue group of copyright infringers who have stolen a much earlier version of my data - from at least 10 years ago - and have the affrontery to publish that, along with using my name, on their poorly researched website. They claim this is the 'original' Kracker Archive, a ridiculous claim since my Archive has been in a state of continuous development for over 30 years and nobody - NOBODY - has the original. They have no right to use my name or my data and readers who come across this nonsense should do nothing to encourage theft of this nature. I am outraged by this blatant theft and misrepresentation of my lifetime's work. The ONLY person I have ever authorized to publish my data and use my name is Kelvin Youngs, who earned my trust and respect many years ago and is authorized by me to publish my work on whichever website he organizes, currently this being its present home at the highly respected Aircrew Remembered.

KIFA 25 April, 1945 when he crashed northwest of Berlin while on a delivery flight (L. Wiegels). WIA 12 May, 1944 during aerial combat near Salzkotten, bailed safely. His first known victory, a Soviet Il-2 45 km NE of Dubrovno on 30 November, 1943. A 2nd Il-2 on 15 December, 1943. Two Soviet Il-2s on 3 March, 1944, while in JG-54. A 5th Soviet, a Pe-2 on 10 March, 1944. A 6th Soviet, an Il-2 on 3 April, 1944. One known western victory, his 1st, a P-51 near Diepholz on 29 April, 1944. His 2nd, a P-51 at Nienburg on 8 May, 1944. His 3rd, a P-51 in the Lisieux-Bernay area on 4 July, 1944. A 4th, a P-51 on 15 August, 1944, no location given. A Spitfire over northern France on 19 August, 1944. His 6th, a Spitfire in the Rouen area on 27 August, 1944. A 7th, a P-47 at Neuerburg on 19 December, 1944. Alternate spelling: Bübel.
2 Bubel, OttoFw11/TG-2 Ju 52/3m Werk # 640612 "8T + LV" (lost 2/11/45) Transport Operational Clasp MIA 11 February, 1945 when his ac was lost due to unknown circumstancesduring a flight from Papa to Budapest, both in Hungary. Remaining crew (desig unk): Uffz Fritz Polster (MIA), Fw Günther Stenz (KIA) and Uffz Hans Hülshoff (KIA). VDK burial matches found for Uffz Hülshoff and Fw Stenz. Uffz Hülshoff has not been transferred to a military cemetery, but a grave is understood to exist at Budapest, Fehervari ut, Hungary. He is commemorated in the German War Cem at Budaörs, Hungary. Fw Stenz is buried at Budaörs in Blk 1, among the unknowns (D.Drury).
3 Schmidt, HerbertUffz9/KG-55He 111P "1G + HT" (lost)Bomber Operational ClaspKIA the night of 11/12 August, 1940 after both engines were damaged during a fighter attack after a bombing raid near Bristol. The AC crashed and burnt at Rambervilliers France on the return flight. Remaining crew: Uffz Siegfried Held, Observer (MIA); Uffz Bubel R/O (WIA) and Fw Paulussen, Mech, (WIA). 4 Tüffers, Hans Adalbert Oblt8/KG-55 He 111P-2 Werk # 1586 "G + AT" (lost 9/15/40), He 111P-2 Werk # 1571 "G1 + JS" (lost 11/1/40) Bomber Operational Clasp POW 1 November, 1940 when his ac was hit by AA fire and crashed at Hornchurch, Essex. Added: Crashed at Matlock Gardens, Hornchurch, Essex (J.Schadskaje). He and the Observer bailed out and were captured. Remaining crew: Uffz Josef Haversteng, Obs (POW); Uffz Richard Bubel, R/O (KIA) and Uffz Joseph Juvan, Flt Engr (KIA). The two deceased are buried at CC; Juvan 1/2/44 and Bubel 5/9/214. On 15 September, 1940, his Wk# 1586 was sd by Spitfires of No.152 Sq., piloted by F/O Peter Geoffrey O'Brian and P/O Arthur Roy Watson, and crashed at sea SE of Portland, Dorset. He and the Observer were rescued at sea by German ASR, and three others are "missing at sea" and memorialized at the Laboe Naval Memorial. Remaining crew: Uffz Heinz Rothen, Obs (rescued); Uffz Andreas Janson, R/O (KIA); Uffz Fritz Keil, Flt Engr (KIA) and Ogefr Rudolf Conrad, Gnr (KIA) (D.Drury). Alternate spelling: Tueffers.
