There is a rogue group of copyright infringers who have stolen a much earlier version of my data - from at least 10 years ago - and have the affrontery to publish that, along with using my name, on their poorly researched website. They claim this is the 'original' Kracker Archive, a ridiculous claim since my Archive has been in a state of continuous development for over 30 years and nobody - NOBODY - has the original. They have no right to use my name or my data and readers who come across this nonsense should do nothing to encourage theft of this nature. I am outraged by this blatant theft and misrepresentation of my lifetime's work. The ONLY person I have ever authorized to publish my data and use my name is Kelvin Youngs, who earned my trust and respect many years ago and is authorized by me to publish my work on whichever website he organizes, currently this being its present home at the highly respected Aircrew Remembered.

He was able to bail out, but was seriously injured when he landed. This was his fourth wound of the war. His AC crashed north of Deelen Holland (DeSwart). One known confirmed victory, a Mosquito of RAF No. 540 Sq. on 10 April, 1944 N of Verdun. One P-51 of 355FG on 24 April, 1944 NNE of Munich.

Hauptmann Heinz Baader (March 25, 1916 - February 18, 1966) was a pilot of aufklärer (scout) who was born and raised in Munich (later he also died there). He was awarded the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on April 26, 1945 as Hauptmann in Nahaufklärungsgruppe 5 (led by Major Hermann Schmidt) for the extraordinary effort he displayed at Cirava (Kurland), although I did not get information about what his business was like. One type of aircraft he had piloted was Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6 / U3. Baader was promoted to Oberfeldwebel on January 25, 1943, Leutnant on April 16, 1944, and Hauptmann on April 26, 1945 (together with his gift of the Ritterkreuz). Other medals and awards he received: Flugzeugführerabzeichen; Eisernes Kreuz II.Klasse and I.Klasse; Dienstauszeichnung der Wehrmacht III.Klasse; Medaille Winterschlacht im Osten 1941/42 (1942); Luftwaffe Ehrenpokale für Besondere Leistungen im Luftkrieg (January 25, 1943); Frontflugspange für Aufklärer in Gold; and the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold (April 16, 1944)

The deceased are said to have died at Südspitze Hela and could not be recovered for burial. They are commemorated in the War Cem. at Stare Czarnowo, Poland (D.Drury).

Morgan. Baers 109 crashed near Hattenhausen, while Capt Morgan was also killed when his P-51 crashed nearby. This was Baers first combat mission. He was buried at Höchen-Schwand.

Remaining crew (all POW); Lt Adolf Renner, Observer, Ogefr Wilhelm Rössinger, wireless operator, Gefr Walter Lorenz, mechanic and Uffz Christoph Schumann, gunner. Earlier, on 9 October, 1939, he and his crew were taken prisoner after making an emergency landing in a field in Nymindegab, Denmark due to low fuel. The crew were on an anti-shipping operation with five other He 111's. Before being captured, they were able to set the ac onfire. They remained POW's until the German occupation, 9 April, 1940. Remaining crew (all uninjured): Uffz Hermann Gutacker, Obs; Ofw Adolf Friedrich Düring, R/O and Uffz Erich Scheinert, Mech. Source: "Air War Over Denmark". Alternate spelling: Waldauf.

Fahnenjunker-Oberfeldwebel Josef Baldes (September 6, 1915 - July 30, 1985), who was born and died in Differten / Kreis Saarlouis (Germany), was a aufklärerflieger pilot of Aufklärungsgruppe 124 recommended by his unit to get the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes in early April 1945 The proposal was processed by Oberkommando der Luftwaffe / Auszeichnung und Discipline (OKL / AuD) on April 16, 1945. Approved, the recommendation was then forwarded as Luftwaffenpersonalamt-Verleihungsvorschlag (LPA-VV) Nr. 1577 to Reichsmarschall's aide Hermann Göring for approval. Unfortunately, the recommendation was never resolved and the war ended on May 8, 1945. Therefore, the award ceremony could not be verified even though Walther-Peer Feldgiebel officially stated in his book that Baldes was awarded the Ritterkreuz on May 9, 1945 as Fahnenjunker-Oberfeldwebel and Flugzeugführer at 1. (Fern) Staffel / Aufklärungsgruppe 124 / Kommandierender General der Deutschen Luftwaffe in Norwegen. Other medals and awards he received: Eisernes Kreuz II.Klasse; Eisernes Kreuz I.Klasse; Luftwaffe Ehrenpokale für Besondere Leistungen im Luftkrieg (April 12, 1943); and Deutsches Kreuz in Gold (August 16, 1943). During his war career the Baldes completed 281 combat missions, and he was listed as the last aufklärerflieger to be awarded the Ritterkreuz!

His first known victory, a Soviet Boston III on 2 May, 1944, a Gefr at the time. A 2nd, a Yak-9 on 26 June, 1944. A 3rd, a Yak-9 on 21 July, 1944. A 4th, a Yak-9 on 17 August, 1944. So impressed by Baur, Hitler kept his loyal and trusted pilot until his death in 1945. Baur was an Oberführer in the SS, as was Heydrich. Believed to be a Lt General in the Post-war Luftwaffe. Deceased 17 February, 1993 in Herrsching (CK)

Fighter Operational Clasp		On 21 May, 1942, Berg and Zwernemann were escorting an Hs 126 on a recon mission NW of Izyum, when they were jumped by rocket-firing MiG-3s. Berg took and engine hit and bailed and was being shot at by the Soviets, when Hermann Graf came to his rescue. He managed to return to his unit, to fight another day. Seems like he and Zwernemann were good enough friends that Berg followed Zwernemann to JG-77. 3 Bombers. Berg was one of four Ploesti defenders to down a B-24 on the raid, 4 April, 1944. On his aircraft was painted the slogan, "Ill find you for sure". Victory count may be as high as 38 (Magnus).
