There is a rogue group of copyright infringers who have stolen a much earlier version of my data - from at least 10 years ago - and have the affrontery to publish that, along with using my name, on their poorly researched website. They claim this is the 'original' Kracker Archive, a ridiculous claim since my Archive has been in a state of continuous development for over 30 years and nobody - NOBODY - has the original. They have no right to use my name or my data and readers who come across this nonsense should do nothing to encourage theft of this nature. I am outraged by this blatant theft and misrepresentation of my lifetime's work. The ONLY person I have ever authorized to publish my data and use my name is Kelvin Youngs, who earned my trust and respect many years ago and is authorized by me to publish my work on whichever website he organizes, currently this being its present home at the highly respected Aircrew Remembered.

At wars end, a British POW, released in the Fall of 1947. 555 missions destroying 61 tanks, several supply ships and a Soviet submarine in the Black Sea. Deceased 1 September, 2006 Celle (P. Bastin).

With the help of the crew, the wounded pilot was able to return to base and make a safe landing. Remaining crew: Ogefr Helmut Ulrich, Obs (WIA) and Ofw Wilhelm Seidl, Gnr. (WIA). Th unidentified R/O escaped injury. WIA 3 July, 1941 in Wk# 3439 in a running battle with Soviets fighters. Fighter Operational Clasp		KIA 6 April, 1942 in Werk# 7564 in aerial combat with a Pe-2 of 40 BAP, near Saki, 20 km east of Jewpatoria, in the western Crimea. Another source says he is still MIA. His first known victory, a Blenheim NW of Stavanger on 9 July, 1940, a Gefr at the time. Nos 2 & 3, both Blenheims in the Aalborg area on 13 August, 1940. He was injured slightly and his E-3 suffered 60% damage on 26 September, 1940 during a force landing accident at Fornebu Norway due to engine fire (Source: SIG Norway). His 4th, a Blenheim N of Brest on 21 December, 1940. His 5th, a Blenheim at Brest on 4 January, 1941. Nos. 9,10 and 11 were a Hurricane and two Blwnheims at Malemes on 25 May, 1941. His 15th victory was a Soviet MiG-3 fighter of the 55th Fighter Aviation Regt., shot down 26 July, 1941 during Operation Barbarossa. Shot down with wounds 11 October, 1941 shortly after his 33rd victory. Shot down and MIA 25 June, 1941 by AA fire in this E-4, but returned shortly thereafter. Downed three Soviet fighters on 19 March, 1942. Sunk 2 MTBs in the Suda Bay, Crete and scored a direct hit on a large transport vessel. Bowers/Lednicer, 51 victories.

387 Volk, LudwigOfw3(F)/122 (6/41) Ju 88D-2 Werk # 0825 "F6 + EL" (lost 6/18/41 DeSwart), Ju 88D-1 Werk # 1465 "F6 + CL" (lost 12/9/41) Wound Badge (6/18/41), Observer Operational Clasp KIA 9 December, 1941 after aerial combat with a Hurricane believed to be from RAF No. 43 Sq., piloted by F/Lt Geoffrey May, off Newcastle. After repeated attacks by the Hurricane, the Ju 88 dove steeply into the sea off Seaham. Remaining crew (all KIA): Lt Fritz Böhme, Observer, Ofw Fritz Shackert, wireless operator and Fw Walter Lentfert, mechanic. Volk crashed Wk# 0825 at Haringvliet Holland (Hellevoetslius/Rockanje) on 18 June, 1941, cause and crew disposition unknown (DeSwart). Volk piloted an He 111H Werk # 5575 "F6 + NL" which made a forced landing at Gäddede Sweden on 3 June, 1940 due to a combination of bad weather and a navigational error. Remaining crew: civilian inspector Arthur Klanke, Oblt Louis Ferdinand Wentz and Uffz Otto Schmidt. The AC was returned to Germany, and he too, obviously returned, ironically to die in December, 1941 (B.Widfeldt). Added: Remaining crew 18 June, 1941 (all WIA): Lt Hans Jochim Behrens, Obs; Fw Otto Schmidt, R/O and Uffz Walter Lentfert, Flt Engr (reported MIA, and believed KIA, in the 9 December encounter) (D.Drury). 390 Wagner,Fw 58C "DR + IC"Transport Operational ClaspThis AC, assigned to a top secret organization (Luftfahrt Forschungs Anstalt "Hermann Göring"), became lost on a flight from Braunschweig to Copenhagen, and being low on fuel landed at Saxtorp Sweden on 18 November, 1941. Three civilian passengers; Staff Engineer Voss, Dr of Engineering Theodor Schmidt and a mechanic named von Plotho. The AC was returned to the German authorities the day it landed. Source: B.Widfeldt.

The crew were on a training exercise, and no cause for the crash was given. Remaining crew (KIC): Ogefr Karl Feichte and Gefr Willi Schmidt.
