There is a rogue group of copyright infringers who have stolen a much earlier version of my data - from at least 10 years ago - and have the affrontery to publish that, along with using my name, on their poorly researched website. They claim this is the 'original' Kracker Archive, a ridiculous claim since my Archive has been in a state of continuous development for over 30 years and nobody - NOBODY - has the original. They have no right to use my name or my data and readers who come across this nonsense should do nothing to encourage theft of this nature. I am outraged by this blatant theft and misrepresentation of my lifetime's work. The ONLY person I have ever authorized to publish my data and use my name is Kelvin Youngs, who earned my trust and respect many years ago and is authorized by me to publish my work on whichever website he organizes, currently this being its present home at the highly respected Aircrew Remembered.

After a forced landing behind enemy lines, Beeger and his crew made their way to the German lines. In May 1941 he and his Staffel played a major role in the Geschwader’s successful operations against British warships in the waters around Crete. Staffel had sunk 17 merchant vessels in the Mediterranean. In addition to these anti-shipping operations, Beeger and his Staffel also mined the Suez Canal and bombed targets in North Africa. On 1943-02-01 took over III./KG 101, a training unit based at Cognac in the south of France, and served as Kommandeur until 14/8/1943. Attached to HQ of KG 101 until the beginning of March 1944, then assigned to the staff of the General der Kampfflieger. In October 1944 he was named supply officer in the Geschwaderstab of KG 53 and was responsible for the delivery of V1 flying bombs to the unit. (Fern) Staffel / Aufklärungsgruppe 33 based in Bologna in the fall of 1943 after he had previously crossed various missions over the English and African straits. At the end of 1943 the unit was relocated to Königsberg-Devau where the pilots attended training using the Junkers Ju 188 aircraft. On March 16, 1944 Bayer Staffel was assigned to the Athens-Kalimaki area and operated using the new aircraft they had learned. There they carried out various surveillance missions to Italy, Cyprus, Malta, Haifa, Alexandria, and the Suez Canal. In October 1944 they left Athens and moved to Szombathely in Hungary, then to Zagreb / Yugoslavia. For his prominent leadership in his unit, Bayer was awarded the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on May 1, 1945 as Hauptmann and Staffelkapitän 3. (Fern) Staffel / Aufklärungsgruppe 33 / Luftflotte Reich. He died in 1974 in an accident. Their ac was damaged and the crew were uninjured. Bartnik was most likely the Co-pilot. The other crew were: Gefr. Kurt Kuhling, Ogefr. Josef König and presumably pilot, Lt Helmut Ueberson. Jager Blatt article. In a second incident, same crew, they were shot up by fighters and AA fire on 19 August, 1942 in the vicinity of Dieppe (LOCS). The crew of Ueberson/Bartnik flew numerous missions over Northern England between 1942-1943, becoming the longest surviving crew in their unit by March, 1943. They were removed from operations and served in instructional capacities (Jager Blatt & LOCS).

(Added by Pietrzak Youngs) Oberleutnant Edwin Bader (19 September 1915 - 12 July 1944) was an Austrian pilot who automatically became a member of the Luftwaffe at Anschluss (unification) with Germany in 1938. After being promoted to Leutnant, Bader was stationed at Aufklärungsgruppe 12 as a pilot using Hs 126 Henschel and participated in the Battle of Britain. In the campaign in Russia he served as a strategic scout for XIII.Armeekorps / Heeresgruppe Mitte. In the summer of 1942 the unit was renamed Nahaufklärungsgruppe 16 and the aircraft was upgraded to Focke-Wulf Fw 189. Bader was awarded the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on 26 March 1944 as Oberleutnant and Beobachter in 2. Staffel / Nahaufklärungsgruppe 16 / Luftflotte 4 after successfully completing 345 feindflug (combat mission). Its mission is somewhat dangerous and risky because the threat of enemy aircraft is always looming, not to mention the shots released by anti-aircraft guns. During his career he was recorded three times injured due to shots of Flak and enemy aircraft. In the summer of 1944 Bader moved units again to Nahaufklärungsgruppe 2, which used Messerschmitt Bf 109 aircraft. The whiz spy died in an accident while training using his new aircraft over Finkenheerd, Brandenburg (Germany), in July 1944. In 1938/1939, he went on to become a reserve officer in the anti-aircraft artillery regiment in Greifswald. In August 1939, he was appointed to the Department of the flak-teaching regiment in Hamburg. At the beginning of the war, he was transferred to East Frisia as adjutant to the Headlamp (Searchlamp?) Regiment 1. In May 1940, he began his training as an observer at Großenhain. In June 1941, he was deployed to the eastern front. After being promoted to first lieutenant, he was awarded the Knight's Cross on 14.03.1943, after operations in France, England, the Balkans and Russia. From Mid-1943 he received a training at the pilots school A/B 41 in Frankfurt / Oder and at the pilots school (C) 6 in Kolberg. In 1944 he attended the blind flying school in Copenhagen. After being retrained in IV/KG 6 on the Ju 88 and Ju188, he joined Stab/KG-6. On 02.06.1944 to be assigned as an ia (?) officer. On 12.08.1944, he was given command of the III./ KG 6, which was at that time to be a booster in Ahlhorn and flew against the invasion front. On 19.10.1944, the order for the reclassification of KG-6 was ordered and Baasner sent to Breslau-Rosen to train as a fighter pilot. The III/KG-6 was then in Prague-Rusin and was refitted sparingly on the Fw 190. On 31.01.1945, the III group was named " Schwanen Gruppe", the first Me 262 element of the squadron. But the new deliveries of the Me 262 did not come until March 1945. In March / April Baasner left the III. Group, which is now III/KG(J)-6, and took over the leadership of I/KG (J) 54, which was also in Prague-Rusin. At the end of the war, he was captured with the remains of his group in Graz, from which he was released. Baasner flew over 300 reconnaissance missions. He was awarded the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on April 26, 1945 as Hauptmann in Nahaufklärungsgruppe 5 (led by Major Hermann Schmidt) for the extraordinary effort he displayed at Cirava (Kurland), although I did not get information about what his business was like. One type of aircraft he had piloted was Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6 / U3. Baader was promoted to Oberfeldwebel on January 25, 1943, Leutnant on April 16, 1944, and Hauptmann on April 26, 1945 (together with his gift of the Ritterkreuz). Retired Bundeswehr General in 1968. Deceased 24 November, 1984, Munich. Wilhelm Antrup was born in Leeden on Febraury 1st, 1910. After his school he entered the Deutschen Verkehrsfliegerschule in Cottbus in 1934. After his pilot training het joined the Luftwaffe in 1935. Wilhelm Antrup took part in the Spanish Civil war as Leutnant with the Kondor Legion. Took part in fightings in Poland, the western campaign in May/June 1940 and the Battle of Britain. During this last battle was Staffelkapitän 5. / Kampfgeschwader 55 with the rank of Hauptmann. After this, Antrup and his unit sent to eastern front. Fought over Caucasus and at Stalingrad. December 1942 temporary Kommandeur III. / Kampfgeschwader 55 to be appointed in that function formally on May 6th, 1943. At the ending of the War, Antrup was taken prisoner by American troops. During the War he flew a total of 612 operational sorties. After the war he joined the Bundeswehr and was appointed Leiter der Technischen Schule der Luftwaffe 1 (Flugsicherung) as Oberst in 1956. On December 1st, 1956 he became Leiter der Technischen Schule der Luftwaffe 3 (Technik), which occupation he held until June 30th, 1962. Wilhelm Antrup retired as Brigade General on March 31st, 1968.
