There is a rogue group of copyright infringers who have stolen a much earlier version of my data - from at least 10 years ago - and have the affrontery to publish that, along with using my name, on their poorly researched website. They claim this is the 'original' Kracker Archive, a ridiculous claim since my Archive has been in a state of continuous development for over 30 years and nobody - NOBODY - has the original. They have no right to use my name or my data and readers who come across this nonsense should do nothing to encourage theft of this nature. I am outraged by this blatant theft and misrepresentation of my lifetime's work. His known 14(Eis crew): Uffz Josef Lammel, Obs (DK-G 10/17/43); Fw Willi Dede, R/O (DK-G 6/17/43) and Ofw Johann Hanninger, Flt Engr (DK-G 3/20/44). POW 1 January, 1945 after being shot down with wounds by a Mosquito of RAF No. 604 Sq., piloted by F/Lt Foster, and crashing by Dolphia, 3 km east of Enschede, Holland. His R/O and Mechanic, Uffz Gerhard Hoppe and Uffz Franz Ofenscheidt, were killed in the crash (Jager Blatt 2/2004). Added: Uffz Hoppe buried Yssel Q-1-18 and Uffz Ofenschiessl (sp) buried Yssel Q-1-17 (SGLO). One known victory, a "4 mot" NW of Hannover on 27 September, 1943. Another, a Lancaster 15 km NE of Frankfurt on 22 March, 1944. A 4th, a "4 mot" in the Amiens area on 13 June, 1944. A 5th, a "4 mot" in the Uden area on 22 June, 1944. Seaman(KilledInAction (KIA)), over Baumholder on 18 March, 1944. Remaining crew: Sgt William Powell, Flt Engr(POW); F/S William A. Robson, Nav(POW); Sgt Roberet H. Pickford, R/O(POW); F/S Edward A. POW 5 November, 1940 after forced to bail during aerial combat over Laindon Essex. One known victory, his 1st, a Spitfire W of Le Touquet on 5 July, 1940. His 2nd, a Spitfire E of Dover on 9 July, 1940. His 3rd, a high-altitude PDU (Photo Recon) Spitfire # N3071 "PR IA", piloted by F/O Cecil Milne, S of Stuttgart on 10 July, 1940. When the engine gave out, the PR pilot managed to bail after putting his AC into a steep dive to destroy the equipment, becoming a POW immediately. His 4th, a Hurricane SE of Dover on 14 July, 1940. A 5th, a Hurricane 8 km NE of Dover on 20 July, 1940. A 6th, a Spitfire N of Margate on 11 August, 1940. A 7th, a Hurricane E of Dover on 16 August, 1940. An 8th (referred to as No.6 by OKL), a Hurricane E of Ashford on 24 August, 1940. A 9th (referred to as No.7 by OKL), a Spitfire NW of La Panne on 13 September, 1940. Achieved 33 victories in only 40 combat missions, 25 with the Me 262, the highest of all 262 pilots!. 51 Night victories. 21 bombers. 7 Mosquitoes. Added: He scored his first victory on 22-23/09/43. A double victory of 2 Lancasters in the night of 18/19 March 1944, his 14th and 15th victory , CK) One known double victory on 22 September, 1943; both B-24s, at Hannover. He downed 4 Lancasters in the Königsberg area on the night of 30 August, 1944. Two mosquitos in the Berlin area on 16 September, 1944. A Mosquito N of Wittenberg on 18 September, 1944. A Mosquito over Berlin on 6 October, 1944. A Mosquito N of Berlin on 28 October, 1944. In December 1944, he organized NJ Kdo262 (the only Night Fighter unit to fly the 262) and scored 20 victories in the Berlin area. His 39th victory, a Mosquito of RAF No. 139 Sq., piloted by F/Lt Howard, on 2 January, 1945. On the night of March 30, 1945, Welter scored the largest individual victory against the fast Mosquito bomber, by shooting down four of RAF No. 692 Sq., one flown by F/Sgt Camprey. He was the highest individual scorer in the "Wilde Sau" units. Flew "Red 10" in Burg, Germany, April, 1945. Some controvery over his Mosquito claims. Died in an auto/train accident 7 March, 1949 at Leck. Added: Credited with 93 combat missions. RK awarded after 33 aerial victories (all but 4 of which were at night) after just 40 missions. Russian POW in May, 1945. Released after 10 years in Russian captivity along with Hajo Hermann, Hermann Graf, Ferdinand Schoerner, Hartmann and Wiese. A WWI ace with 6 victories in 160 Observer missions, and post war Commercial pilot, he became a Party member in 1926 and in 1932 began piloting Hitler. So impressed by Baur, Hitler kept his loyal and trusted pilot until his death in 1945. Baur was an Oberführer in the SS, as was Heydrich. Believed to be a Lt General in the Post-war Luftwaffe. Deceased 17 February, 1993 in Herrsching (CK)

KilledInAction (KIA) 3/4 March, 1945 during Operation Gisela, the attack on RAF heavy bombers returning from a raid on synthetic oil plants at Kamen, in the Ruhr. Their Ju 88 infiltrated the bomber stream, attacking British bombers as they were landing, when their starboard wing struck a tree and clipped the corner of the Dunnington Lodge at Sutton on Derwent, near Elvington, Yorkshire, before hitting the ground and disintegrating. 400 plus missions, 2 Night victories, one a mine-laying Lancaster the night of 18/19 February, 1945. His crew 4 March, 1945 (all KilledInAction (KIA)): Fw Gustav Schmitz (geb 3/6/1921), wireless operator, Ofw Hugo Böker, radar operator and Fw Martin Bechter, mechanic. All are initially buried in Fulford, York, England, and in 1966 were re-interned at the German Military Cemetery at Cannock Chase. He had flown as Wilhelm Hoffmanns wingman after Hoffmann lost an eye. He served as Hoffmanns "eyes" flying along side him on landings and takeoffs, judging the distances for Hoffmann. POW 1/1/45. He and his R/O Uffz Adolf Bauer crashed with injuries into the Channel off Felixstone on 11 August, 1940 and were rescued. They were in 1/ZG-26 at the time. Opposed the 6 March, 1944 Berlin Raid while serving as Kdr III/ZG-26. Although badly damaged by a P-51 of 357FG, piloted by F/O Tom Mc Kinney, he, and R/O Fw Kluepfel, made a single engine landing at Magdeburg. Shot down in his A-8 on 1 January, 1945 by AA fire on the way to his assigned target, Volkel airfield. He belly landed his AC four miles west of Severum, northwest of Venlo. Soon after, he was captured by Allied troops. 90+ missions. One known victory, a B-24 on 24 February, 1944, no location. Another, a B-17 at Magdeburg on 8 March, 1944. A 2nd B-17 10 km N of Bammicke on 11 April, 1944. Deceased 24 October, 1982.

Zipse managed to bail out uninjured though he was attacked on his chute by US fighters. He landed at the train station at Mecklar. According to a letter from the parents of Herbert Zimmermann Zipse was arrested by the Wehrmacht at first because he left the aircraft. He wrote twice to the parents after the air combat (CKönig).

A bomber pilot from 1940 to March 1944. KilledInAction (KIA) 13 May, 1944 near Burschen, east of Frankfurt/Oder. He is reported to have rammed a B-17 in his 410, also killing his R/O Fw Johann Ahlgrimm (born 18/02/16 in Berlin CK)., although he may have been shot down by Mustangs escorting the bombers. Over 350 missions. Destroyed 60 to 70 Soviet tanks. One victory as a bomber pilot. Added: “Oberfeldwebel Wolfgang Martin has distinguished himself as a bomber pilot against both England and the Soviet Union. In July of the previous year he had a major share in the destruction of a Soviet tank group. His intervention in the ground combat brought friendly ground troops relief and support on many occasions.” By this time Martin had flown 305 operational sorties. (TOW, CK)

He destroyed 65 tanks, 10 trains, 5 rocket launchers and 37 guns. His 2 victories were over Il 2s, the 1st on 15 October, 1944. He was released from captivity on 25 October, 1949. Added: Ritterkreuz awarded after flying around 600 ground attack missions. By the time of his 500th mission he had destroyed: 65 tanks, 10 trains, 5 Katyusha rocket launchers, 37 guns. He later served in the Bundeswehr from 01/04/56 until 30/09/77 and retired as Oberst im Generalstab. (CK)

He was followed by several P-47s who strafed the Metz-Frescaty airfield, hitting him in the stomach with a 50 cal. He fell off the wing into the revetment and bled to death. Escaped injury during a collision on 15 March, 1944 with Lt Johann Hermann Meier, the Sq. leader. Meier was killed and was found responsible for the takeoff accident. One known victory, a B-24 of the 44BG near Poix on 21 January, 1944.
