Added: Re: the 17 April collision, Schallmoser's ac was hit by the lead bombers gunners, knocking out both engines and shattering the canopy. He lost control and collided with B-17G Ser# 43-38085, 305BS, "Towering Titan", which crashed at Babisnau. The incident was witness by Galland & Lt Klaus Neumann. Schallmoser bailed safely ("Me 262 Stormbird" book).
