There is a rogue group of copyright infringers who have stolen a much earlier version of my data - from at least 10 years ago - and have the affrontery to publish that, along with using my name, on their poorly researched website. They claim this is the 'original' Kracker Archive, a ridiculous claim since my Archive has been in a state of continuous development for over 30 years and nobody - NOBODY - has the original. They have no right to use my name or my data and readers who come across this nonsense should do nothing to encourage theft of this nature. I am outraged by this blatant theft and misrepresentation of my lifetime's work. The ONLY person I have ever authorized to publish my data and use my name is Kelvin Youngs, who earned my trust and respect many years ago and is authorized by me to publish my work on whichever website he organizes, currently this being its present home at the highly respected Aircrew Remembered.

Added: Believed sd by a B-24 of the USAAF 479th Anti-submarine Group over the sea NW of Spain. Remaining crew (KilledInAction (KIA)): Uffz Georg Kurschatke, Obs and Uffz Hugo Frank, R/O (D.Drury). Alternate spelling Wittmer-Eigenbrodt.
4 Wiemer, FritzOfw2/KG-26He 111 "1H + GK" (lost)Bomber Operational ClaspPOW 3 February, 1940 after being shot down by two Hurricanes of RAF No. 43 Sq., piloted by Sgt Frank Carey and Sgt Peter Guy Ottewill, 15 miles E of Tynemouth, 15 miles off the Northumberland coast. With both engines out of commission, Wiemer had to ditch the AC. The AC remained afloat long enough for the crew to escape, but not long enough to inflate their dingy. Four crew were picked up by the trawler Harlech Castle, but Uffz Karl Ernst Thiede, gunner, disappeared beneath the waves before he could be rescued (later recovered and buried at Scartho Road Cemetery, Grimsby, Plot 116, Row I, Gr 1. Remaining crew: Fw Franz Schnee, Observer, POW, Uffz Alfred Dittrich, wireless operator, POW, Uffz Willi Wolff, mechanic, rescued but died of wounds before the trawler, Harlech Castle, reached shore.

Injured in a crash in Wk# 4044 at Heddesheim, no cause reported (Bf 109 Loss List). WIA 3 February, 1943 during aerial combat in "Black 9" with a Spitfire of RAF No. 416 Sq. SW of Bergues. Seriously wounded, he was able to make a force landing.

Voigt was buried in Schneeberg/Neustädtel. Shot down w/o wounds 11 January, 1944 in "Black 8" at Schalkhaar, 3 km north of Holten Holland, over central Holland, by B-17 return fire. Bailed successfully. His first orientation flight was with Gerd Wiegand on 5 October, 1943. Believed to have one "unconfirmed" victory, a Spitfire at Dixmuide, 23 October, 1943. His one confirmed victory, a B-17 of 384BG E of St. Omer on 1 December, 1943. Alternate spelling: Voight. There may be another Heinz Voigt, however it may be spelled Voight (Butler Pilot list shows two Heinz Voigt).

The crash was reported as an accident in a meadow along Koningsdiep Municipality, Opsterland. Both he and his R/O-Gnr, Ogefr Günter Neubert (geb 8/25/1920 Zwickau), were killed in the crash. They were initially buried in Leeuwarden, and then in 1958, re-buried at Ysselsteyn. Uffz Radzki AR-9-201 and Ogefr Neubert AR-8-200 (Find-A-Grave by Fred). Alternate spelling: Rzadki (Netherland Loss Registry & his Ysselsteyn headstone).

Medwecki was attempting to intercept his Stuka formation at 6AM, 1 Sept., 1939, and unwittingly became the first aerial victim of WWII. His gunner at the time was Franz Klinger. 350 missions; 230 with the Ju 87, the rest with his assault AC. Shot down in flames in Wk# 0306 at Skurbij, Ukraine, east of Voroshilovgrad, with wounds. Deceased 13 December, 2003.

POW 16 August, 1940 after being shot down on his 20th mission (added: according to himself it was his 7th (!) mission with KG 2 (CK)) and seriously wounded during the raid on RAF Hornchurch, Kent. He was the victim of British Hurricane pilot, Frank Higginson (or P/O Bryan Wicks) of RAF No. 56 Sq.. His Observer, Uffz Phillipp Hess (geb 1/11/15, Mainz-Kostheim), bailed successfully, with wounds, and was also taken prisoner; interned in Canada. Two crewmembers were killed: Gefr Gerhard Reinicke (10/12/19, Limbach), R/O and Gefr Johann Golob (12/19/14, Buer-Rosse), Gunner, both bailing out at too low an altitude. (acc. to Möllenbrok they could bail out but seemingly struck the burning and spinning Do-17 on the way down where they were found dead (CK)) Möllenbrok was seriously injured, and brought to Wye Valley for treatment. Returned to Germany after three years as a POW. Representing the KG-2 Pilots Association, he layed the wreath on the graves of the crew of Do 217 #5314, on 14 October, 1998. Jager Blatt mention & LW Loss Report via Joe Potter. Added: the ac came down at Summerfield, near Staple, Kent. The injury was to his right hand, and may have been amputated. (added: his hand was saved by a RAMC surgeon. CK). The two deceased crew are buried at CC, Plot 1, Row 2; Reinicke in Gr 37, Golob in Gr 38 (D.Drury). Alternate spelling: Moellenbrok.

Remaining crew: Uffz Karl Kraus, Obs (POW); Ofw Paul Neumann, R/O (POW) and Ofw Otto Beyer, Flt Engr (KilledInAction (KIA)). All but Ofw Beyer were rescued in their dinghy; Beyer is believed to have bailed, and could not be found in the water. He is listed by the VDK as being "in a sea grave", and commemorated on the Kiel-Laboe Naval Memorial (D.Drury).

His Me 410 crashed at Komarom Hungary, where he is buried in the ger War Cem. at Budaörs, among the "unknowns" (D.Drury). WIA 13 July, 1943 by flak west of Gorodok, his unnamed R/O MIA (Bf 110 Loss List). His first known victory, a B-17 at Spessart on 14 October, 1943. Two B-24s at Raab on 16 June, 1944. Alternate spelling: Mihasch (OKL victory # 1). Added: The unnamed R/O relative to the 7/13/43 incident was Uffz Harry Weiss (MIA) (D.Drury).

His RO was Ofw Gerhard Scheibe (06/04/1917) [RK (10/12/43), DK-G (23/07/43 CK), EP (26/07/43 CK), EK 1 & 2]. Scheibe was the first Radio Operator to win the RK (after 60 night victories (CK)), buried in Zerbst (see his own entry). All Night victories. 130 combat missions. 44 bombers. Downed a Hampden I of RAF No. 14 (OTU-Operational Trng Unit) near Diepenveen Holland, 4 km NNW of Deventer on the night of 30-31 May, 1942. A Wellington III of RAF No. 156 Sq. at Rozendaal, 6 km NE of Arnhem the night of 15-16 August, 1942. A Halifax II of RAF No. 158 Sq. at Rhaan, 5 km N of Hellendoorn Holland, the night of 15-16 October, 1942. One known "multiple victory" nights, 17 June, 1943, he downed four Lancasters. On the night of 21/22 June, 1943, his Bf 110G4 Werk # 5475 crashed near Elsendorp Holland, NE of Gemert due to engine trouble (Brit bomber return fire/SGLO), injuring him, no mention of crew injuries (DeSwart & Bf 110 Loss List). His 1st victory, a Hurricane of RAF No. 87 Sq., piloted by F/Sgt Frank Howell, 18 km south of Lüttich, 12 May, 1940, one of three Hurricanes this date. His 4th, a Spitfire I at Seclin, 5 km S of Lille on 16 May, 1940. Nos 5 & 6, both Potez 63s, one N of Albert-Meaulte, the other SW of Hirson, 19 May, 1940. His 10th, a Spitfire W of Dunkirk on 2 June, 1940. His 15th, a Spitfire 30 km N of Margate on 24 July, 1940. In December 1941, he was appointed Inspector of Day Fighters. He was also known to have flown 109E # 5398, 2804 and 4820. In JV-44, he flew Me 262A-1a White 3 in April, 1945; claiming 7 victories. Victories 100 & 101, both B-26s on 16 April, 1945, while serving in JV-44. His 102nd, a B-17 on 21 April, 1945. His last two victories, Nos. 103 & 104, both B-26s near Neuburg on 26 April, 1945. Deceased 9 February, 1996. The nickname Keffer was the name given by Adolfs father, to his distinguished son. Also called Dolfo

Added CK: On 07/10/1943 OFw Frank sighted a crashed German airplane near a village on his route to Starosten. The crew was surrounded by attacking enemy partisan bands. He managed to land his Ju near the plane under difficult situation and being fired on by MG and mortar fire, while he and OGefr Längler managed to rescue the wounded crew and take-off again. KilledInAction (KIA) 27 April, 1944 when his Bf 110 G-4 was struck by a Lancaster of RAF No. 12 Sq. at Heese, which was falling to the ground near Eindhoven, Holland. Added: A part of the wing was torn apart, CK) Frank was killed in the ramming. The stricken G-4 crashed at Heeze Holland, the remaining crew disposition unknown (DeSwart). His 23rd victory, a Lancaster at Oud Kembeek, east of Lingen, on 18 November, 1943. He scored a double victory over two "4 mot" in the Lüneburg area on 15 February, 1944. He scored five victories on 20 February, 1944. A Lancaster 10 km NW of Venlo on 23 April, 1944. Another Lancaster on 27 April, 1944, no location. He was one of the most successful Night Fighter pilots of his squadron. 183 combat missions. All his victories were Night victories. Added: He bailed a total of 3 times during combat missions and had several crash landings (CK). Ofw Frank burial: Block Z, Row 6, Grave 149. His R/O, OFw Hans Georg Schierholz and Gnr Fw Heinz Schneider (WIA) bailed safely (it was Schierholz"s 4th jump out of a stricken aircraft (CK) (SGLO).
