There is a rogue group of copyright infringers who have stolen a much earlier version of my data - from at least 10 years ago - and have the affrontery to publish that, along with using my name, on their poorly researched website. They claim this is the 'original' Kracker Archive, a ridiculous claim since my Archive has been in a state of continuous development for over 30 years and nobody - NOBODY - has the original. They have no right to use my name or my data and readers who come across this nonsense should do nothing to encourage theft of this nature. I am outraged by this blatant theft and misrepresentation of my lifetime's work. The ONLY person I have ever authorized to publish my data and use my name is Kelvin Youngs, who earned my trust and respect many years ago and is authorized by me to publish my work on whichever website he organizes, currently this being its present home at the highly respected Aircrew Remembered.

But by the time the Heinkel arrived, the demolitionists had all been waited by the soviet soldiers who started shooting when it landed. A few of them managed to jump into the plane and it took off. Helf and Acher were wounded, the engine was damaged and they had to descend to the Yungozero Lake 35 minutes later. After a while NKVD unit caught them up. Leuenhagen killed himself. 4 Achgelis, Gerd16/07/08GolzwardenTest pilot and pioneer in the development of helicopters. Achgelis turned down the offer of Göring to take the position of Generalluftzeugmeister after the death of Ernst Udet in November 1941. He worked as a test pilot at an aircraft factory in Graudenz until the end of World War II. In 1975, he received the légion d'honneur from France for his achievements in aviation. Deceased 18/05/91 in Hude.

His G-14 crashed near Arnhem Holland on 24 September, 1944, cause unknown (DeSwart). He was injured in the crash (JG-4 List). Initially in a Luft flak unit, he became a pilot near wars end when fuel and aircraft were in short supply. He was a paratrooper at wars end. He was an English POW, released in January, 1946. This one landed on the weak ice of Lake Vänern at Mariestad at 2247 hours. The crew attempted to taxi to shore, but fell through the thin ice and settled to the bottom. This occurred during exercise Weserübung after dropping paratroopers. They were a crew of five, however, only four are known. Remaining crew: Ofw Josef Becker, Fw Ernst Rethmeier and Uffz Werner Röhr. Note: the pilots were not positively identified by the author. I selected the two senior ranking persons as pilots. Bomber Operational Clasp		His Wk# 6311 was reported lost 6 August, 1941, fuel pump failure, landing near the shore at Fethiye. The remaining crew interned in Ankara. Boecker eventually repatriated and became Stfkpt in 12/LG-1. Remaining crew: Uffz Ernst Mössner, Obs; Gefr Kurt Hüttl, R/O and Gefr Horst Täsch (or Hans Tesch?, see below), Gnr. Wk# 2262 was reported lost (interned) 22 May, 1941, hit by AA fire over Crete, force landed in Turkey. Pilot and crew repatriated uninjured. Remaining crew: Uffz Ernst Mössner, Obs; Fw Fritz Jährling, R/O and Gefr Hans Tesch, Gnr (Özkan Türker). Deceased 2 February, 1987, Bielefeld.

probably at least Destroyer Operational Clasp in Bronze		WIA on 18/07/43 when shot down N of the Aetna with his Radop/Gunr Fw Hans Wolfsteiner (WIA). Have made already over 80 combat flights (and 1087 flights in all) up to 07/42. Mentioned in the summary of Günter Schultze-Quentells life (AirWar Publications) - he flew as a passenger on a courier flight with a Bf-110 under pilot Willi Bründl to the main airfield of 2.(H)/Aufkl.Gr. 14 at Gasr-el-Regen in the summer of 1941 and on 01/10/41 again to Bir-el-Gabr when he returned after his marriage holiday. On 12/06/41 on transit flight of new aircraft for 2.(H)/ Aufkl.Gr. 14 from Lippstadt via Leipheim and Africa. On 02/09/41 he flew with Obsv Rabanser and Gunr Stolz a courier flight in the morning from Martuba to Bir el Gabr and later a combat mission from Bir el Gabr and afterwards a courier flight back to Martuba. On 09/10/41 he had to force land his HS-126 20km E of Barce. Bründl eventually made it back to base two days later. He was flying a Fi-156 Kurierflug with the Obsv Hans-Dietrich Komnick on 01/02/42. On 11/02/42 he flew a mission with Obsv Ernst von Weyrauch and a man from a Propagandakompanie as Gunr. He flew with his crew Radop Schulze from Lippstadt to Martuba between 12-18/06/41. Many more combat and courier flights followed (Flugbuch available if questions occur!). He flew often with his Radop/Gunr Fw Hans Wolfsteiner - from 2.(H)/Aufkl.Gr. 14 in 1943 via 4.(H)/Aufkl.Gr. 12 to ZG 26 in 1943 (!) Wolfsteiner was apparently KIA on 03 March 1944 in air combat with Bründl as pilot! (CK)

Remaining crew: Uffz Lothar Firlus (geb 5/29/22, Etzdorf), R/O (KIC) and Uffz Ernst Manigel (geb 4/20/22, Lubitze), Gnr (KIC) (A. Rosseels). Added: The two crew were buried at Kassel Hauptfriedhof, graves 57-601 and 57-568 (C.König).

Also killed was Flg Werner Becker, Gnr; Bradel was not piloting on this mission. Remaining crew (Injured): Lt Ernst Andres, pilot; Ogefr Wilhelm Schlagbaum, Obs and Uffz August Dreschler, R/O. RK awarded for successful attacks on Soviet tanks in June, 1941. Alternate spelling: Bradl.
