There is a rogue group of copyright infringers who have stolen a much earlier version of my data - from at least 10 years ago - and have the affrontery to publish that, along with using my name, on their poorly researched website. They claim this is the 'original' Kracker Archive, a ridiculous claim since my Archive has been in a state of continuous development for over 30 years and nobody - NOBODY - has the original. They have no right to use my name or my data and readers who come across this nonsense should do nothing to encourage theft of this nature. I am outraged by this blatant theft and misrepresentation of my lifetime's work. The ONLY person I have ever authorized to publish my data and use my name is Kelvin Youngs, who earned my trust and respect many years ago and is authorized by me to publish my work on whichever website he organizes, currently this being its present home at the highly respected Aircrew Remembered.

Added: The aircraft had been dispatched to Santahamina/6.5 km SE of Helsinki in Finland with orders to fly to Lake Jungozero in the Lake Onega area to rescue 13 Estonian agents on an Abwehr operation behind Russian lines. But by the time the Heinkel arrived, the demolitionists had all been waited by the soviet soldiers who started shooting when it landed. A few of them managed to jump into the plane and it took off. Helf and Acher were wounded, the engine was damaged and they had to descend to the Yungozero Lake 35 minutes later. After a while NKVD unit caught them up. Leuenhagen killed himself. Dive Bomber Operational Clasp w/Pendant		Shot down 22 July, 1942 during an attack on Rostov, was brought to the Taganrok hospital with serious burns. On 20 August, 1942, he was transferred to the Luft Hosp at Greifswald (Pomerania) via Ju 52, where he died 2 September, 1942. He is buried at Jüterbog. 482 missions as bomber and dive bomber pilot.

Severely injured 19 August, 1941 in a crash due to engine failure on his 132nd mission. Returned to duty in 1944 with KG-1 flying the four-engine He 177. His gunner was Fw Hein Bruns. R/O Uffz Hans Jäger. Observer Fw Zens. British POW, released 1946. He was interviewed for a History Channel program seen in 2002. Retired LW-Bundeswehr Oberst. Deceased 10 April, 2004.

SG-77 was jumped by 60-70 Mustangs and Bauer and several others were killed in the dogfight 1km northwest of Kukau near Kamenz. Six others were killed including the Stfkpt, Oblt August Lambert (RK). All were buried on the Hutberg near Kamenz. Channel pilot. About 650 missions.

Remaining crew (KilledInAction (KIA)): Uffz Gerhard Bartolain, Observer; Uffz Albert Lange, R/O; Uffz Gunter Goecking, Gunner 1 and Ofw Heinrich Litschke, Gunner 2. Added: Belly landed 3 August, 1943 in Wk# 4432 at Oude Geinsche Polder, Vreeswijk Holland, due to engine trouble, pilot Lt Becker wounded. A Tech Rep, Prüfmeister Kurt Berthold (18/011/08 in Hilbersdorf, CK) was the only other onboard, and he died in the crash, buried Yssel CT-11-260 (SGLO).

The body of Georg Henneske (born 10/04/15 in Raisdorf, CK) was buried in Bridlington Cemetery on 19 August, 1940; it has since been re-interned in the German Military Cemetery at Cannock Chase.

Leutnant Horst Baldauf (May 24, 1920 - June 10, 1944) was one of the best reconnaissance pilots owned by Aufklärungsgruppe 22. The aircraft that he usually piloted were Dornier Do 17 P & F and Heinkel He 111H. He was lost on duty in Vinnitsa, Ukraine, on June 10, 1944. Until this moment his fate was not known with certainty, but most likely his plane had been shot down by Soviet aircraft. For his dedication Baldauf was awarded the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes posthumously on August 8, 1944 as Leutnant and Beobachter in 2. (Fern) Staffel / Aufklärungsgruppe 22 / Luftwaffen-Kommando Don. At that time the unit (Aufklärungsgruppe 22) was dissolved!

The crew of Ueberson/Bartnik flew numerous missions over Northern England between 1942-1943, becoming the longest surviving crew in their unit by March, 1943. They were removed from operations and served in instructional capacities (Jager Blatt & LOCS).

Oberleutnant Richard Anders (January 3, 1915 - September 9, 1993) had participated in the invasion of Poland in 1939 with the Aufklärungsgruppe 21 when his reconnaissance plane was shot down by an enemy hunter plane which left him and Hauptmann wounded. Anders then changed units to Ergänzungs-Aufklärungsgruppe (6 August 1942) and Aufklärungsgruppe 12 (1 September 1942). He was awarded the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on 27 July 1944 as Oberleutnant and Flugzeugführer at 11. Staffel (H) / Nahaufklärungsgruppe 12 / Fliegerführer Kroatien / Luftwaffenkommando Südost after completing many reconnaissance missions and directing artillery fire. At the end of the war Anders joined Staff 8. Flak-Division. In total he has completed 370 feindflug (combat missions), most of which take place on the Eastern Front. Other medals and awards he received: Flugzeugführerabzeichen; Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz (November 26, 1939) and in Silber (January 21, 1944); Dienstauszeichnung der Wehrmacht IV. Klasse (1939); Eisernes Kreuz II. Class (December 13, 1939) and I. Classe (July 25, 1940); Frontflugspange für Auklärer in Bronze (21 April 1941), in Silber (22 February 1942), in Gold (30 November 1942) and mit Anhänger (19 July 1943); Luftwaffe Ehrenpokale für Besondere Leistungen im Luftkrieg (10 August 1942); Medaille Winterschlacht im Osten 1942/42 (December 31, 1942); and the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold (April 12, 1943). He also got one foreign medal namely the Ehrenzeichen der Slowakisches Schnellen Division XLII (Slovakien Honor award for service against the Soviet Union) which he got on 23 May 1942. What was unusual about Richard Anders's Oberleutnant photo was the absence of the Luftwaffe eagle logo on his hat! Post-war photos taken?

Hans Baasner joined Flak Regt 2 at Szczecin, 01.10.1936. In 1938/1939, he went on to become a reserve officer in the anti-aircraft artillery regiment in Greifswald. In August 1939, he was appointed to the Department of the flak-teaching regiment in Hamburg. At the beginning of the war, he was transferred to East Frisia as adjutant to the Headlamp (Searchlamp?) Regiment 1. In May 1940, he began his training as an observer at Großenhain. In June 1941, he was deployed to the eastern front. After being promoted to first lieutenant, he was awarded the Knight's Cross on 14.03.1943, after operations in France, England, the Balkans and Russia. From Mid-1943 he received a training at the pilots school A/B 41 in Frankfurt / Oder and at the pilots school (C) 6 in Kolberg. In 1944 he attended the blind flying school in Copenhagen. After being retrained in IV/KG 6 on the Ju 88 and Ju188, he joined Stab/KG-6. On 02.06.1944 to be assigned as an ia (?) officer. On 12.08.1944, he was given command of the III./ KG 6, which was at that time to be a booster in Ahlhorn and flew against the invasion front. On 19.10.1944, the order for the reclassification of KG-6 was ordered and Baasner sent to Breslau-Rosen to train as a fighter pilot. The III/KG-6 was then in Prague-Rusin and was refitted sparingly on the Fw 190. On 31.01.1945, the III group was named " Schwanen Gruppe", the first Me 262 element of the squadron. But the new deliveries of the Me 262 did not come until March 1945. In March / April Baasner left the III. Group, which is now III/KG(J)-6, and took over the leadership of I/KG (J) 54, which was also in Prague-Rusin. At the end of the war, he was captured with the remains of his group in Graz, from which he was released. Baasner flew over 300 reconnaissance missions. (Fern) Staffel / Aufklärungsgruppe 33 based in Bologna in the fall of 1943 after he had previously crossed various missions over the English and African straits. At the end of 1943 the unit was relocated to Königsberg-Devau where the pilots attended training using the Junkers Ju 188 aircraft. On March 16, 1944 Bayer Staffel was assigned to the Athens-Kalimaki area and operated using the new aircraft they had learned. There they carried out various surveillance missions to Italy, Cyprus, Malta, Haifa, Alexandria, and the Suez Canal. In October 1944 they left Athens and moved to Szombathely in Hungary, then to Zagreb / ​​Yugoslavia. For his prominent leadership in his unit, Bayer was awarded the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on May 1, 1945 as Hauptmann and Staffelkapitän 3. (Fern) Staffel / Aufklärungsgruppe 33 / Luftflotte Reich. He died in 1974 in an accident. Fahnenjunker-Oberfeldwebel Josef Baldes (September 6, 1915 - July 30, 1985), who was born and died in Differten / Kreis Saarlouis (Germany), was a aufklärerflieger pilot of Aufklärungsgruppe 124 recommended by his unit to get the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes in early April 1945 The proposal was processed by Oberkommando der Luftwaffe / Auszeichnung und Discipline (OKL / AuD) on April 16, 1945. Approved, the recommendation was then forwarded as Luftwaffenpersonalamt-Verleihungsvorschlag (LPA-VV) Nr. 1577 to Reichsmarschall's aide Hermann Göring for approval. Unfortunately, the recommendation was never resolved and the war ended on May 8, 1945. Therefore, the award ceremony could not be verified even though Walther-Peer Feldgiebel officially stated in his book that Baldes was awarded the Ritterkreuz on May 9, 1945 as Fahnenjunker-Oberfeldwebel and Flugzeugführer at 1. (Fern) Staffel / Aufklärungsgruppe 124 / Kommandierender General der Deutschen Luftwaffe in Norwegen. Other medals and awards he received: Eisernes Kreuz II.Klasse; Eisernes Kreuz I.Klasse; Luftwaffe Ehrenpokale für Besondere Leistungen im Luftkrieg (April 12, 1943); and Deutsches Kreuz in Gold (August 16, 1943). During his war career the Baldes completed 281 combat missions, and he was listed as the last aufklärerflieger to be awarded the Ritterkreuz!
