There is a rogue group of copyright infringers who have stolen a much earlier version of my data - from at least 10 years ago - and have the affrontery to publish that, along with using my name, on their poorly researched website. They claim this is the 'original' Kracker Archive, a ridiculous claim since my Archive has been in a state of continuous development for over 30 years and nobody - NOBODY - has the original. They have no right to use my name or my data and readers who come across this nonsense should do nothing to encourage theft of this nature. I am outraged by this blatant theft and misrepresentation of my lifetime's work. The ONLY person I have ever authorized to publish my data and use my name is Kelvin Youngs, who earned my trust and respect many years ago and is authorized by me to publish my work on whichever website he organizes, currently this being its present home at the highly respected Aircrew Remembered.

Added: Flying with the crew of Hptm Paul Strobel, they were killed when they collided with the crew of Lt Hans Auer, as they passed thru a layer of clouds, killing both crews. Remaining Strobel crew: Uffz Walter Fock; Ogefr Georg Arnold and Uffz Ewald Oetken. 447 combat missions, 313on eastern front, and 68 last over four hours, thus counted as doubles, total 515 missions. He was the first Flt Engr to receive the RK (C.König).

Remaining Crew: Gefr Klaas Visser (Dutch), Gunner (KilledInAction (KIA) on his birthday, 24/12/21 in Amsterdam); Uffz Walter Trenck, R/O; Hptm Erich Zenker, WIA also a pilot, acting as gunner. Bomber Operational Clasp 		KIA 14 September, 1943 in the vicinity of Ivanovka, Russia (Pl.Qu.69844). His ac exploded due to being attacked by fighters at the time of his bomb release (D.Drury). On 5 July, 1943, his ac crashed and exploded on landing at Kharkhiv-Voichenko airfield, Ukraine, after being attacked by fighters. Accompanying him on this flight, a second pilot, Lt Horst Wendt (DK-G Awards List & D.Drury). Alternate spelling: Bartels. See Luftwaffe Officer Career Summaries for further detail. On 07 September 1940 at 03:15 minutes a Heinkel He 111 H-3 of 6./KG 26 crashed near Küstelberg in Sauerland. Küstelberg is today part of 59964 Medebach. The crew: Uffz Karl-Heinz Bartels, pilot, b. 18.06.1917 in Hamburg

The AC was displayed at Croydon, England. He was repatriated in 1943 and joined the Me 262 Program.

Remaining crew (KIC): Uffz Heinz Horn, geb 7/18/1922, Observer. The French crash report suggests he survived, but died of his injuries later. However his grave marker displays Feb 4. A 4th person, Fw Heinrich Leopold geb 10/13/1919 is on a grave marker with one of this crew, showing his date of death as 2/10/44 (curiously). All are buried in the Dagneux Cemetery. His remains not yet transferred to a military cemetery, but a grave is believed to exist at Krovske, Crimea. He is commemorated in the War Cem. at Sevastopol-Gontscharnoje, Ukraine (D.Drury).
