He crashed a Bf 110 north of Franeker Holland on 7 July, 1941, cause and pilot/crew disposition unknown (DeSwart). He lost a 2nd 110, # 2191 east of Leeuwarden Holland on 7 September, 1941; he WIA, and R/O Ogefr Meissner OK, cause unknown (DeSwart). Added: A 3rd 110, Wk# 4618, contained R/O-Gnr, Uffz A.Heissner, injured in the crash at Leeuwarden airfield (SGLO). One known victory, a Whitley 35 km northwest of Terschelling on 6-7 September, 1941. A Whitley on 1 November, 1941, no location. A Hudson on 6 November, 1941, no location. A Hampden I of RAF No. 420 Sq. into the Ijsselmeer the night of 2-3 July, 1942. Another, a Lancaster at Waddenzee on 24 May, 1943. Another, a Wellington on 12 June, 1943. He, Jabs or Uffz Naumann may have downed "EL Lobo" on 4 February, 1943. A double victory on 16 August, 1943; both Wellingtons off Vlieland. A post-script provided by Dom Howard, identifies the Remaining Crew on 9 October, 1943 as: Ofw Walter Czybulka and Uffz Werner Behrendt, both bailing out of the burning Bf 110. In addition, he advised confirmation that his Great Uncle, P/O C.T. His AC was a Spitfire Mk IXB. Four known victories were RAF bombers. on 4 February, 1943, he may have downed the B-17 "El Lobo" of the 305BG, flown by Lt Cornelius A. Jenkins. 710 missions. 22 Day victories and 28 Night victories. He and R/O were injured when his Wk# 720018 hit the ground at the Leeuwarden Holland airfield on 24 November, 1943, cause unknown (DeSwart). His 1st victory, A Hawk-75A, 12 May, 1940. A Morane on 15 May, 1940, no location. Two Spitfires at Dunkirk on 29 May, 1940. A Morane near Dieppe on 7 June, 1940. A Spitfire and a Hurricane in the Portland area on 15 August, 1940. A Hurricane near Aldershot on 30 August, 1940. A Spitfire in the Cambridge area on 31 August, 1940. A Spitfire and two Hurricanes over England on 1 September, 1940.
