There is a rogue group of copyright infringers who have stolen a much earlier version of my data - from at least 10 years ago - and have the affrontery to publish that, along with using my name, on their poorly researched website. They claim this is the 'original' Kracker Archive, a ridiculous claim since my Archive has been in a state of continuous development for over 30 years and nobody - NOBODY - has the original. They have no right to use my name or my data and readers who come across this nonsense should do nothing to encourage theft of this nature. I am outraged by this blatant theft and misrepresentation of my lifetime's work. The ONLY person I have ever authorized to publish my data and use my name is Kelvin Youngs, who earned my trust and respect many years ago and is authorized by me to publish my work on whichever website he organizes, currently this being its present home at the highly respected Aircrew Remembered.

KilledInAction (KIA) 24 December, 1944 in "Red 1" "Rauhbautz IV", after being shot down by a Mustang of 357FG, possibly Maj.Leonard "Kit" Carson of 352FS, over the Knüll Mountains in Central Germany, near Kassel (Hausen/Oberaula). Added: Prior to his service in JG-300, he was known to fly transport to Stalingrad with the Ju 34 (C.König). His 1st victory, at night against RAF bombers, came on 6 September, 1943. 14 of his victories were RAF bombers at night, including a double victory on 24 March, 1944; both "4 mots" N of Krefeld. A P-51 in the Füssen area on 18 July, 1944. A P-38 S of Munich on 19 July, 1944. A B-24 at Szekesfehervar on 27 July, 1944. A B-24 (HSS) near Budweis/Böhmen (Bohemia) on 24 August, 1944. A P-51 SE of Göttingen on 27 September, 1944. A B-17 at Hildesheim on 28 September, 1944. 17 of his victories were U.S. bombers during the day, 3 of which he downed on 7 October, 1944. He was forced to bail (safely) on this date after ramming the 3rd B-17. Magnus Report, 34 victories. Bowers/Lednicer, 40 victories. Added: He shared his aircraft in 6. Staffel with Lt. Graziadei (ckonigxx)

Another source says the two ac collided. Remaining crew (KilledInAction (KIA)): Uffz Walter Stolz, R/O (geb 8/18/1922) and Uffz Siegfried Burghardt, Flt Engr (geb 8/2/1924). The deceased are buried at Usingen. This Lancaster may be the one identified in the OKL Claims as his 2nd victory.

Uninjured 26 June, 1944 in his G-8; combat with a B-24 in the Moosbierbaum vicinity. WIA 7 July, 1944 by AA fire & B-24 return fire in his A-8 "Yel 1" in the Leipzig vicinity. WIA 27 September, 1944 in his A-8 "Red 14"; aerial combat in the Gotha vicinity. WIA a 3rd time, 31 December, 1944 in A-8/R2; sd in the Rotenburg vicinity, bailed safely. This was his 25th combat mission. One known victory, a B-24 NW of Tulln on 26 June, 1944. A 2nd, a B-24 SE of Eschwege on 27 September, 1944. A 3rd, a B-17 (HSS) at Hildesheim-Salzgitter on 28 September, 1944. A 4th, a B-17 in the Rathenow area on 6 October, 1944. A 5th, a B-17 (HSS) in the Artern area, W of Leipzig, on 7 October, 1944. A 6th, a B-24 at Prossnitz (Olomouc) on 17 December, 1944. Deceased 1999. Added: He shared his aircraft in 6. Staffel with Oblt Bretschneider (ckonigxx)

His H-5 was sd 29 January, 1942 after taking three AA hits causing him to crash in enemy territory, 20km east of Staraya Russia. His Flt Engr, Fw Heinz Bretschneider was fatally wounded. The remaining crew, Fw Heinz Fehse, Obs, and Uffz Ferdinand Dorfler, R/O, and Röthke made the 30 hour trek back to German lines. 476 combat missions in numerous theaters. Retired Bundewehr Oberst. Deceased 27 April, 2003 Bad Salzuflen (P. Bastin).
