There is a rogue group of copyright infringers who have stolen a much earlier version of my data - from at least 10 years ago - and have the affrontery to publish that, along with using my name, on their poorly researched website. They claim this is the 'original' Kracker Archive, a ridiculous claim since my Archive has been in a state of continuous development for over 30 years and nobody - NOBODY - has the original. They have no right to use my name or my data and readers who come across this nonsense should do nothing to encourage theft of this nature. I am outraged by this blatant theft and misrepresentation of my lifetime's work. The ONLY person I have ever authorized to publish my data and use my name is Kelvin Youngs, who earned my trust and respect many years ago and is authorized by me to publish my work on whichever website he organizes, currently this being its present home at the highly respected Aircrew Remembered.

Medalla de la Campaña de España 1936-1939		KilledInAction (KIA) 18 September, 1941 after aerial combat with a Spitfire of RAF No. 41 Sq., piloted by P/O Cyril Frederick Babbage, when he crashed his new Fw 190A-1 "0110 028" into the Channel near Ostende, off Blankenberge. While escorting shipping, he was the squadrons first Fw 190 combat casualty. Three weeks later, his body washed up on a Belgian beach at Knokke. Added: He is buried in the German War Cem. at Lommel, Belgium, Blk 38, Gr 459 (D.Drury). Plus one victory was in Spain. One known victory, his 1st, a Blenheim Mk IV of No.139 Sq. near Bad Driburg, 1 October, 1939. On 12 May, 1940, while still in 2/JG-1, he downed three Blenheims Mk IV's of No.139 Sq. (2) and No.107 Sq. (1), in the Maastricht & Lüttich areas. His 4th & 5th victories, both LeO-451s at Montdidier, 6 June, 1940. His 7th, a Hurricane over the Isle of Wight on 19 July, 1940. His 8th, a Blenheim IV of No.236 Sq. in the Cherbourg area on 1 August, 1940. His 9th, a Spitfire S of Stanford on 7 September, 1940. Nos.10 & 11, both Spitfires at Maidstone on 11 October, 1940. His 15th, a Spitfire at Tonbridge on 8 November, 1940. His 20th, a Spitfire at Gravelines on 8 July, 1941. Added: A Blenheim Mk IV of No.21 Sq., near Ostende, 23 July, 1941 (H.Wheeler). 79 missions. According to JG-26 author, Donald Caldwell, his victories may have been as high as 28. Alternate spelling: Adolf.

Remaining Strobel crew: Uffz Walter Fock; Ogefr Georg Arnold and Uffz Ewald Oetken. 447 combat missions, 313on eastern front, and 68 last over four hours, thus counted as doubles, total 515 missions. He was the first Flt Engr to receive the RK (C.König).

He was trapped, however, Uffz's Walter Opitz and Heinz Orlowski came to his rescue. A French POW until 1947, he worked to clear mines near Fortress Gironde, near Bordeaux. Spaven Jr. (KilledInAction (KIA)). Germanys 9th ranked fighter Ace. 1000 combat missions. EL 8/14/41. Historys first Jet Ace! 16 victories in the Me 262. 10 victories in the Desert, Kdr I/JG-77. He was shot down 18 times. His 100th victory, an I-16 Rata on 19 May, 1942, the same day he downed five; three additional I-16s and an R-5. His 200th victory, a B-24 in the Ahlen area on 22 April, 1944 in his A-7 "Red 23". One of his last victories, a P-47 in the Bad Aibling area on 28 April, 1945, and a Mosquito, next day, same area, serving in JV-44. Began as Fw in JG-51 in Bf 109E Werk # 3714 "White 13" & E # 6663 "White 7". Also, Kdr I/JG-77 in May 1942. Served in JG-3 also. Fw 190A carried Werk # 172689 of II/JG-1. Also known to have flown Fw 190A-7 Werk # 431007 "Red 13" in II/JG-1. Flew an Me 262A-1a Wk#110559 "Red 13" also, in April, 1945. 16 Me 262 victories. Often out of Görings favor, he coined the phrase, "In my crate, I'm the commander". Killed in a light plane crash in Brunswick in 1957.

Charles B. Cruikshank. Navigator, Capt. Frank D. Murphy of Atlanta. Frank Murphy suggests the pilot was Oblt Heinrich Klopper. One known victory, his 1st, a B-17 N of Roye on 28 July, 1943. A 2nd, a B-17 E of Ostbevern, NE of Münster, 10 October, 1943. His 3rd, a B-17 on 11 January, 1944. His 4th, a P-47 N of Osnabrück on 10 February, 1944. His 7th, a Spitfire S of Caen on 14 July, 1944. His 8th, a Typhoon at Caen on 19 July, 1944. His 9th, a Spitfire on 25 July, 1944, no location given. His 10th, a Spitfire at Pontoise on 6 August, 1944. His 23rd victory (?), the 1st for III Gruppe in Russia, was an Il-2 on 17 January, 1945. His 11th & 12th, both Yak-9s on 10 February, 1945. His 13th, a Yak-9 on 17 February, 1945. His 14th, a P-39 on 23 February, 1945.

A Yak-1 and two LaGG-3s on 30 October, 1942. A P-40, a Yak-1 and a LaGG-3 on 30 November, 1942. A LaGG-5 and two Yak-1s on 5 August, 1943. Four LaGG-5s on 23 August, 1943. A Yak-9, a P-39 and two Yak-1s on 29 December, 1943. Another of many multiple victories for this high scorer! Shot down with severe wounds 31 May, 1944, exhausted after his sixth mission of the day. Flying his G-6, Wk# 163195 "Black 5", he lost his concentration, and was jumped by a Soviet P-39. His last victory was on 5 Jan., 1945. Injured in another crash on 25 April, 1945, when his Me 262 was shot down by a P-51. He carried the name "Christl", his wifes name on nearly all his AC. Barkhorns wingman was Fahnrich Graf Keller. His crew chief from 40 to 45, Cpl. Albert Kusterer. Shot down 9 times. In 1955, he joined the West German Luft. and became a General. Deceased 11 January, 1983; auto accident 6 January,1983, wife Christl killed instantly 6 January. Post war home: Tegernsee.

A Stirling I of RAF No. 149 Sq. at lEcluse (Brabant), 10 km SW of Tienen Belgium the night of 5-6 June, 1942. A Wellington 2 km southwest of Oploo on 1 August, 1942. A Lancaster I of RAF No. 83 Sq. at Morkhoven (Antwerpen), 6 km SSW of Herentals Belgium, the night of 24-25 August, 1942. Two Wellington IVs of RAF No. 21 (OTU) in the Limburg Belgium area the night of 16-17 September, 1942, one being HE110 'SJ-Q', which crashed at Spalbeek, 8km WNW of Hasselt (John Jones, who also supplied the Bf110 images). On 5 July, 1943, his ac crashed and exploded on landing at Kharkhiv-Voichenko airfield, Ukraine, after being attacked by fighters. KilledInAction (KIA) 23 December, 1944 in his G-10, "Yellow 13" over Bonn, shortly after his last victory, a P-47 on Rolf Brands tail, on this same date. It is thought that Col. David Schilling C.O. of the 56FG was the victor on this date. His body was found on 26 Jan., 1968 near Villip (Bad Godesberg), the parachute intact, in the AC! 500 missions, 42 victories in the West, 2 heavy bombers. His 1st, a Spitfire near Gravelines on 19 August, 1941. Among his known Soviet victories, two I-61s N of Murmansk on 29 July, 1942. A Soviet triple, all Hurricanes, on 10 August, 1942. Four Hurricanes and an I-61 near Murmansk on 22 September, 1942. Another Soviet triple, a P-39 and two P-40s on 23 March, 1943. He scored a triple victory (3 British fighters, Nos. 75, 76 & 77) on 23 April, 1944 SW of Cilli, in the Balkans. His 80th, a P-51 N of Waldkraiburg on 24 April, 1944. Victories 90 & 91, both P-47s in the Dives-sur-Mer area on 16 June, 1944. His 92nd & 93rd, a Spitfire and a P-51 NW of Caen on 22 June, 1944. His 95th, a P-51 SW of Flers on 24 June, 1944. A P-51 NW of Achmer on 8 December, 1944. He was nominated for the EL.
His aircraft and his remains were found near Bad Godesberg 26 Jan 1968 (Youngs)
