It is probable that the throttle lock was loose, which made the starboard throttle slide back, causing the the a/c to make a 90 degree turn to starboard the pilot pushed the throttle forward again. The a/c continued with a cross-wind take off and after a further 700 yards the a/c became airborne. The pilot applied full opposite rudder to counter the cross wind, after which the a/c turned abruptly to port and ran into a row of trees. The a/c broke in two and burst into flames.
