Pilot: P/O. Tadeusz Blach 76689 PAF Age 22. Killed

REASON FOR LOSS:

On a routine training flight when it is thought that the engine stalled when flying too low and dived into the ground.

P/O. Blach escaped from Poland into France during December 1939 and then made his way to England. Joined 55 OTU and then joined 504 Squadron in June 1941 prior to then joining 308 squadron in July of the same year.

P/O. Tadeusz Blach. St. Clears (St. Mary) Churchyard, Carmarthanshire, Wales. Born 20th November 1915, Warsaw, Poland. Also commemorated on the Memorial in Poland and at Northolt.
